I felt like this quote fit the moment 15 years ago when the Citizens United decision that lead to all of this happened because even though some of us were screaming only a whimper was heard. Corporations own our media and our politicians. We've been an oligarchy for over a decade.

I love our San Diego team this breaks my heart. Their regular YouTube updates are so informative and help me educate the public where I volunteer.

We did this in 2017, along with weekly protests at the office, protests outside any announced public appearances including television studios and flipped a swing district.

Offices, television studios when they make appearances, lots of places to still find them and protest.

On Instagram if you click on the three dots on a post of someone you don't follow and click "manage content preferences" you can turn off suggested posts for 30 days. Then you only see what you follow. You have to keep doing it but it takes power from the algorithm. Helps me be on there less.

They all have local offices. It's an excellent place to set up protests.

Thanks! I'll definitely spread the word around the 'verse. It's a good way to celebrate Serenity's 20th birthday!

I have a friend measuring her wall and hoping you bring it to SDCC so she can buy in person!

That's definitely understandable. I'm hopeful that we've come too far to slide too far backward but only time will tell. Keep after us but don't lose hope!

I'll leave you to your anger though it's perfectly justified.

I'm also surprised and saddened by that too actually. As for the "they didn't" were you alive and in America at the beginning of the AIDS crisis? I was, and lucky enough to be aware and advocating to my peers. I saw the time it took for the cultural shifts to happen. It's unfortunate.

All of those uprisings took a lot of years. People quietly advocating and educating one person or small group at a time until the right pressure point was touched on. I sincerely hope we act faster than we did in any of the examples you mentioned.
