Takes "I wanna eat em right up" to a whole new level

That's very true. The only way we can all grow is by learning to shush and just listen and learn. But I know it's hard when it comes to countries that are basically in a bubble.

Oh! My bad, my bad. Yeah I enjoyed his videos. Maybe we get it recommended cause we're in Canada. Suspicious 👀

Oh! I've seen your videos randomly pop up and I've enjoyed your reactions on some of our stuff here in Canada. Cool stuff. 🫡

They certainly are!

Although it took me 45 hours of gameplay, it felt way longer because of the extensive traveling and parkouring required to reach certain locations. Platinuming all 3 recent Spiderman games felt faster than completing Forspoken. Still... Not bad. Didn't deserve the hate it got.

Cons: The dialogue for Frey could often be annoying or even terrible, repetitive often times, and the “storm” system is tiring. The world is TOO big, making it tiring to collect all the equipment required and complete all the side missions.

Pros: Fun combat, parkour system is not perfect but still good, the story is nice, and awesome to see a new graphics engine. It's not often you see an engine that could be comparable to that of Unreal Engine 4 / 5, and seems to be very responsive and quick. Great job!

Spider-Man 2 looks fantastic 😡

Just saw Astro Bot won the Game of the Year award, and honestly... Well deserved. There are four games that I’ve absolutely loved in recent years. (2020) Astro's Playground (2021) Kena: Bridge of Spirits (2021) It Takes Two (2024) Astro Bot I did love A Plague Tale, both of them, but these 4 win.

Yeah it's such an underutilized thing. I've always loved when games have interaction outside of the actual game, and include it in their menus and other systems. I wish it was done more often... Then again, maybe by it being done so often it might end up feeling less special. 🤔 Well damn.

I used to go with Namecheap, they're great, but I've since become a big old fan of Spaceship - which is funny, since they're sister companies. But they're pretty great, responsive and their UI is modern. Nice pricing too.

It's wild to me that 759 of those hours were spent on The First Descendant, which was from July 😭 But I've only spent 749 on Fortnite, so this is inaccurate 😡 But it's all been fun, yet mostly for some research for an upcoming project 👀

I hope to be able to get back into content creation on a regular basis soon. The motivation just hasn't been there. I do often miss being on YouTube, but there are so many reasons why I've sort of stepped away - and it all comes down to: It just wasn't fun anymore. We'll see what 2025 brings.

If I were to hazard a guess, it was because #VTuber, to me at least, felt more derivative of "anime girls" and by 2020 that term and format was now popular. Who knows? But it's a lot of work.

The "formula" was simple: Write out a script (or wing it, like most of the time), record my voice, edit out any breaths, ums, stutters, etc. Setup my iPhone for facial tracking / recording, and my Ultraleap for tracking my hands / arms. Then edit it all together. Still I didn't adapt to the term.

It was a lot more work. Normally I'd record my voice, edit out mistakes, etc. That changed with the new character. This meant audio editing, and also being on camera while my face and hands were recorded in real time for my character's rigging for the videos. Then editing those video files.

Yeah Ashes is nice, but it's definitely a vastly different experience than most MMOs. Oh, there's also Throne and Liberty which recently released, and it's F2P; It might be your cup of tea. Black Desert is another good one, albeit a bit grindy. Lost Ark maybe, and Guild Wars 2 is a good classic.

I've seen Deep Blue Sea. I know how this goes. 😭

Wow that's old lol, haven't heard of that name in a long time

Pokemon MMO would be cool, but I feel like the time has passed. I mean... There's already unofficial MMORPG versions that are pretty successful (PokeMMO and Pokemon Revolution Online), and then there's Temtem lol. I've always been wanting a Nintendo Smite-esque game.

I don't recommend Ashes of Creation as your first MMO experience. I recommend instead looking at some Free to Play options, and see if you like more action-combat based or tab-target based. Final Fantasy 14 is always a popular option and it has a lot of content. (I've been playing MMOs for too long)
