That's my conclusion too. He shouldn't have been mouthing off in the first place.

Yes, but he's working on a "concept of a plan."

The dumbest trade war in history turns into the dumbest trade deal in history, and Trump still doesn't know he's been made to look the fool.

On the bright side, this is a useful indicator that maybe they can still read.

Director Ratcliffe has also said that he wants to review IC assessments of Havana Syndrome. This, in my view, is a welcome step.

One possibility is that the US may be helping Israel ship weaponry, including Patriots, to Ukraine. Either that or tonight the drones hit something big.

Does that mean this character gets a Presidential pardon? www.cnn.com/2025/01/08/p...

The Washington Post just published an article saying "US officials" don't think the Eagle S dragging its anchor was deliberate. I think that's total hogwash. Eagle S was a spy ship full of Russians. Who are these as-yet-unnamed US officials? www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/0...

Bezos seems to be trying really hard to bankrupt the Washington Post.

You might want to take a deep dive into the evidence, which also includes multiple connections between Havana Syndrome and Moscow Microwaves. This is not a new story -- Russians have been beaming microwaves at Americans since 1945. shoeone.blogspot.com/2013/09/mosc...

LA+Orange County is bigger than Illinois and Ohio and equal in population to Pennsylvania, leaving just Texas, NY, and FLA.

Please do. The NSC/White House briefed Havana Syndrome sufferers recently and their evaluation has changed. There is now a split opinion among IC members. www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...

BBC had a similar misleading headline. The story did not reflect a reading of the updated assessment.

You are being purposely obtuse. Did you read the article?

You seem to be in the grips of denial. Review the evidence. It's there for all to see. The White House recently briefed Havana Syndrome victims on recent developments. www.theatlantic.com/internationa...

You couldn't be more wrong. I know some of the victims.

This is hilarious. This guy thinks he's accomplished a lot by looking younger at age 48. Just wait until age 78. It's a little bit harder to live longer then. Some people never learn. To quote the old Winston cigarette ad, "It's not how long you make it, it's how you make it long."

To be brutally honest, I never saw a fact check of my posts that had merit. For some reason, they would also take down posts I had done years ago and then not tell me which post it was. Scary incompetence.

Ambassador Toon concluded early on that the Carter administration's arms control policies were naive and not based on any particular deep knowledge of what would work with the Soviets. (see subchapter 7. Ambassador Toon). shoeone.blogspot.com/1977/07/chap...

The MAGA bros are finding out that Trump likes the Tech bros better because they have money. Also, the MAGA bros, since they can't read, can be depended on to forget every time Trump makes them look like suckers.
comment in response to post
Trump gives suckers something to dream for, and then someone else to blame when all their hopes come a cropper.

It's a tribal thing. All things are permitted for members of the tribe.

FT has a great article about this phenomenon. 1/3 of Americans read at a 5th grade level, cannot differentiate between truth and fiction and have trouble understanding anything complicated or nuanced. They are natural born marks. www.ft.com/content/e2dd...

And now the Russians are engaged in a cover-up, just like KAL007 and MH17. Some things never change.

I have found Copilot useful, but don't think it should be forced on people if they don't really need it.

True. My friends and I always made sure to be in front of the TV at our local pizzeria every Thursday at 8:30 pm.😊

Star Trek series were almost universally awful until they reached year four. That's true of TOS, even though it only reached year three. There are maybe half a dozen episodes worth preserving (Balance of Terror, City on the Edge of Forever, etc.). The rest get worse with time. The Rodenberry effect.

Here is a blog on Moscow Microwaves, followed by a bibliography that focuses on Moscow Microwaves, Havana Syndrome, and possible overlaps between the two phenomena. shoeone.blogspot.com/2013/09/mosc...

Among other things, Russia's bases in Syria support Africa Corps operations in the Sahel and Central Africa. Lots of potential knock-on effects if Assad falls.

Perhaps folks would do better to read the December 5, 2024 HPSCI report, which has ALL information, classified and unclassified available to it. It concludes: "It is increasingly likely a foreign adversary is responsible for some portion of reported AHIs." intelligence.house.gov/news/documen...

Did you read the top part about Moscow Microwaves? Believe me, if you lived it, it's not rambling at all. Part V is a bibliography, not a narrative.

Twitter had a feature where you could require people to ask permission before they were allowed to see your feed. Does Bluesky have that?

Syria's supporters, Iran and Russia, have their own fish to fry, and military support for Assad is fraying at the edges.

It would seem that the Russians are taking exposes on Havana Syndrome and other GRU ops much more seriously than Western intelligence agencies.

As with most propaganda uttered on Russian State TV, it lacks credibility, both in terms of factual accuracy and critical analysis.
