And they're doing this primarily bc the White House is threatening to cut off $400M in funding? Columbia has a $14.8B endowment.

She's been brilliant the last year or two. Smart, tactical, strategic, inspiring. Enormous respect.

And it will never pass. And you will all say "Look how they're refusing Americans the vote!" as if it matters.
The Democratic party needs new tactics. The old ones haven't worked for years. Look to AOC—she gets it.

Construction of the sea wall is still pretty insane. Not gonna be as picturesque as usual.

Did reporters show up for Hitler's press conferences well into his reign? I'm guessing they did not. Embarrassing.

Yeah, it's coming. I can't believe Wall Street still thinks "This will almost certainly turn out OK for us."

Damn. I don't remember tech folks ever being as desperate as they've been the last few months. They know they're in trouble.

I imagine thousands of people on LinkedIn would love to see this. I've been surprised how few orgs have fled Meta, especially in my world—progressive nonprofits.

100%. As someone who has worked for nonprofits most of my career, I'm upset to see quite a few progressive orgs remain on Meta platforms, accept money from Chan-Zuckerberg, etc. Gotta find new ways to create community and raise funds—now.

Thank you! I'm angry at the Dems' passive approach, but as a DC resident, I don't even have a rep. Needed this.

Really disappointing that NL—an org devoted to journalism-—is using AI to create illustrations, rather than hiring a professional illustrator or even using stock.

I'm not gonna say local officials are blameless, but it's incredibly frustrating that corporations and the Republican party have fueled the climate crisis for decades, and now everyone is deciding which Democrats to blame for the entirely predictable results.

Did that once or twice before, and I believe I'd copied three paragraphs, made cuts to the copied passage, then left both passages in the doc. Praying that's the case for you.
The real question is why you didn't stop at edit 1,2,3 or 4?! 😂

“We need to obey the first law of holes,” Mr. Gore said. “When you’re in one, stop digging.” Well said.

Love it. DC's Metro has tons of fun stuff, too, including ornaments, totes, and pet collars/leashes!

I wonder. Trump advisor Stephen Miller loves the Nazis, and the Nazis sure loved their Olympics.

I'm seeing this image everywhere but no link to a source. Can someone share a link? (I believe it's true, but it's easy to fake a chart!)
