That’s like $130 per household… it’s not that much really …. It’s a big number for sure, but it’s spread across 10 million households

The good news is that the plan will never actually happen. The fossil fuel sector is dying, and what we are witnessing is the screams of panic of those investors holding onto billions of dollars of soon-to-be stranded coal mines, power plants and other fossil fuel assets.

Putin just lost Syria and Trump hates losers and he hates being associated with losers.

Crazy descent, loss of airspeed…. Turned 180 degrees and turned off transponder at 1600 ft, west of Homs at Kirbat Tin Nur

I think that the comments posted in this thread are illustrative of the difference between the two sites. Intelligent, human engagements levels are substantially higher on bsky.

Hope Brisbane Rocks tonight. Saw you back in 2013 at The Zoo. Sadly can’t make it tonight but I have my memories. Any chance you can post a copy of the setlist sometime after the show?

Be interesting to see how your engagement ratios compare between here and twitter. I saw an article yesterday saying that the guardian is getting 20x the engagement on bsky vs twitter. Probably depends on your intended audience, but interesting nonetheless.

Damn, I was hoping to make it through the weekend without buying another plug-in…. But this looks pretty tempting

As a keen surfer/sailor/beach-goer growing up, it was essential listening. Always found it exciting waiting for the forecast for Lundy to come around.

Always good to get a recommendation for a PA plug-in. There are so many, I hardly ever go outside my go to list of tried and tested

Yeah, that does seem unlikely. It’s probably 500 nautical miles port to port….. that’s a full days steam at top speed

Hi Ian. Go with your instinct and have some fun. You’re never gonna please all the people all the time so you might as well please yourself. People can always unfollow individuals if they so choose…that’s the beauty of feeds…one can subscribe to all or any part of them

uh, google/chrome is already an information harvesting environment. Yes, there are some unique add-ons for Chrome, but If you're concerned about musk, you should probably leave now and use Firefox or something else.

Good to see. I cant think of any other issue that the Telegraph would support Starmer on. Makes a refreshing change to see the fight for Ukrainian sovereignty not becoming politicized as we see stateside.

Possibly quality vs quantity sucks up some of that budget difference. Quick look at naval assets. Astute class boat costs 1.2 billion euro vs 500 million euro for Todaro. Type 26 costs 1.5 billion Euro vs 600 million euro for Bergamini. Throw in Trident.

uh no, some block lists have been seeded with good peeps...whats wrong with blocking people as and when they show up in your own timeline?
