Launch? Certainly! I've been meaning to draw more of the DB girls.

People who are considered 'mentally incompetent' and if they are under a legal guardianship are not allowed to vote in some states in the US. She lives in one under her parent's guardianship.

My cousin who has Down-Syndrome was able to see the truth, and she's not allowed to vote. Why are these people, who seem to have far less mental capability then her if they're so easily 'duped' by a guy telling them flat out what he planned and then followed through, allowed to vote but not her?

The jokey fandom reason is that Goku and Vegeta are very 'old married couple' coded in their rivalry. The actual reason is that there's several major couples in the show that qualify, Vegeta/Bulma and Krillin/18 being the big ones.

We all arrive at what we see as our true selves at different points, as they say. It took me awhile to find out I'm very bisexual despite mooning over Angewomon as a kid.

Trunks was a major closet key for so many not-straight guys I knew in college, like at least half the people in our collage's LGBT+ Alliance mentioned him by name. It was almost like he was specially formulated to be the first crush for people into men for our generation.

I get ya. Sauces that lean fruity are not to everyone's tastes and sometimes the fruit-based sauces can be a bit sweet for some. But I'm much more worried when I see High Fructose corn syrup on the ingredients list in any quantity. That's when I know the sauce is gonna be a gross sugar bomb.
comment in response to post
I get that it's a 'toughness' thing rather than something to actually be enjoyed as food, but I prefer my hot sauces to taste good and not exist solely to burn my tongue. Gimme a good pineapple-coconut-habenaro sauce over the Assblaster 9000™ sauce anyday.

The tattoo artist did a great job ngl. Style-matching DBZ is hard enough on paper or a pad, let alone on bare skin, and this looks free-handed to me but I can't be 100% on that. I'm sure the OG artist could probably tweak Broly's tits into energy blasts or something.

Though personally, I'd make the argument that Cell didn't really have a solid goal after reaching perfection. Even the killing every living thing threat was more of a 'well, I'm bored and I don't know what else to do' thought. Same with the death tournament that he gave up on almost immediately.

In other words, the main 3 DBZ villains serve as the perfect representations of Lawful Evil, Chaotic Evil and Neutral Evil, in case one needs inspiration for writing your DnD villain and wants to figure out how their alignment would factor into their personality.

Funnily enough, this is exactly what my mom wished for all of us kids. That we’d be ‘healthy and tall’. We all tower over her poor 5’ 2” self.

Best part about this line is that its changed context with time. In the late 90s to early 00s, $30 was an expensive men's cut, so he was calling Trunks a vain pretty boy. Nowadays with men's haircuts averaging around $43 in the US overall, he's saying Trunks is a cheap bitch.

I'm a bad person who likes to remind Transformers fans of the greatest shame of the franchise. Right along with reminding Digimon fans of Agumon's Hitler variant.

More like a random toy-only Kiss Players character with a shockingly detailed back of the box bio that makes it clear why he's toy-only.

As a woman, I lose FAR more respect in a person who thinks Andrew Tate is someone worth listening to in the first place. Dude is a Z-grade loser that has to beat down on weaker people because he's a cowardly bully who'd fold in a second if he saw half the gym bro DBZ fans I'm friends with.

You know, I'm honestly surprised that I haven't stumbled upon a "they're all actors" AU fanfiction yet, especially when there's official artwork that actually implies this to be the case.

I think I've read way too much fanfiction in my life, because my first guess was Enemies to Lovers.

I used to do tarot on the side for some extra cash in college. It really is just being paid to give covert friendly advice under the guise of it being the supernatural giving them this advice. The amount of people I just gave general monetary pointers or basic relationship help is really sad.

My friend's family has a rabbit farm. They have such big, open spaces for these critters to roam around in and have to carefully monitor their health since they basically just drop dead if they're startled badly enough. Getting an unprepared kid one of these as a pet seems like a very bad idea.

And video game cameos too. Though from what I’ve heard, a certain muskrat loved to just barge into studios and demand a cameo on the spot.

Bummer. I pretty much have no motivation to go see another MCU film, but Blade would have been the exception. …okay that, and if they were brave enough to actually adapt the original CapWolf story.

Manic Mondays is my retail-hell song. It would play about 6-7 times during every single one of my shifts and I now get ill whenever I have to hear it.

It's on the level of "The Room" in it's entertainingly badness. So many absolutely dorky, uncool lines passed off as cool in this movie. Its right up there with Tommy Wiseau trying to pass off his stilted, monotone and emotionless voice as sincere and empathetic during dramatic scenes.

I think they look more like Princess Jasmine's pants than a gi bottom...but she could kick some serious ass too, so that part still works.

It was basically a reskin of the standard cat, just with a few new/extra animations. I think the new Starcat is actually a legal-friendly and updated Salem if I'm reading the stats on the website right. Just instead of babbling on the phone, it reads stars.

I had the OG Compucat and the T-Rex, along with at least two of the kids meal mini versions(I think it was Pizza Hut that had them? Might have been KFC too, can't remember), and the Salem the Cat version for their collab with Sabrina. I'm considering getting the new Cryptid one for nostalgia's sake.

Ephemeral Fantasia, my beloathed. My memories of rage at that game hit me like a train the moment I saw that box art.

You can tell some people who complain about games having modern 'bad' controls (aka out of the box Unreal engine controls, which are passable for 80% of games) never had the delightful experience of playing Jurassic Park Trespasser. Or Drake of the 99 Dragons.

Ah, I was thinking they would use the Chinese names! Yeah, I'm not shocked in the slightest they got around to doing JTTW stuff eventually.

I'm honestly surprised that Sunwukongmon isn't a thing Digimon did yet. They did have a manga only Digimon that used Cell and Super Buu as some very obvious inspiration by the name of Deathmon.

I was a major fan of VPets as a kid. I had Tamagotchi, Digimon, Nanopets, Neopets, eta. My favorite was Gigapets though. It had the best pet mechanics arguably despite following Tamagotchi and was a bit more forgiving of failure for 8 year old me.

I think they were trying to match Masako's voice work...just not in the best way they could have.

I'm genuinely impressed by the ingenuity of old dubbers of non-English media for US distribution. Reminds me of Samurai Pizza Cats managing to cobble together a charming and funny show despite not having the the actual script to work with. It's a miracle it came out even half as good as it did.

Obscenity laws like this are always the canary in the coal mine. What it considers as "obscene" is so nebulous and flexible, it can be applied to everything from Timmy Turner's cartoon butt being on scene for a 2 second joke to having a gay teenage character in your book. Not good.

It might have collapsed a few usenet groups at the time, but we barely had anything resembling modern social media for this moment to have had such a massive impact online outside of a few webpages and forums. No, where you actually saw the excitement for Super Saiyan was the playground.

A lot of those early dubs of anime were being done by Nelvana and Ocean Productions, both of which are Canadian and premiered most of their content on YTV. YTV also had a good relationship with US-based DIC and Saban who also were dubbing anime to English.

Yeah, the guy had some pretty anti-capitalist and anti-authoritarian politics when you actually break down who the bad guys were in his mangas. The Red Ribbon Army are pretty clearly Nazis and Goku fought them to save the Native Americans. Dude just liked drawing blackface for some reason.

Those survival food kits are such hot garbage I absolutely would become a post-apocalyptic Karen and demand a refund from the ruins of the company. As a side note, if you want to genuinely prep for food scarcity, buy a pre-AI foraging guide and learn to hunt small game with snares.

Good shrimp as well. Don't use the precooked kind if you can help/afford it, always opt for raw/uncooked if you can instead. The precooked stuff will be rubbery in texture and put a ton of salt in your jambalaya. Also, go for gulf shrimp if it's available to you.

It's a shame too. Sagas was the Dragon Ball equivalent of Trespasser. Interesting and innovative idea for the time that could have been huge, but was knee-capped by over-ambitious devs biting off way more than they could chew and a lack of proper funding for an attempt at such a large experience.
