And that’s only in like 3 years time. That’s really good.

It’s mitigating people’s anger. Turns out if you just say “oops, we messed up” it turns out the percentage of people throwing a drink at you the next game drops drastically.

Nice photoshop.

As someone who’s played for years, has been a paid ref, and did not watch this game or has any stake in it, sorry bro, not a foul. The dude was unbalanced when he took the shot and he tried to lean into the player in the air to force the contact.

Or demisexual? I think that’s the term for needing to know a person in order to develop attraction. Would make sense why you can’t relate. Would also prove the higher plane thing. lol.
comment in response to post
You may just exist on a higher plane than us mere mortals. lol. 🤷🏽‍♂️ or autism. That shit creeps up on you when you least expect. Speaking from experience.
comment in response to post
No. Attraction and affection are completely separate things. And it’s separated like this by psychologists as well. It’s why you can think someone in a picture is hot and what to have sex without knowing anything about them. This holds true for women as well.

Every Taco Bell outside of the states is disappointing if you lived on American Taco Bell. The uk TBell only has like 15 things on the menu instead of like 90. None of the stuff tastes the same, the spice is gone, and as far as I’m aware, no international TBell has Baja blast. It blows.

I’m of the camp that a single player game should be semi balanced, meaning balanced for the first have to make me learn about the nuances of the game and then let me explore the second half, and find ways to abuse that knowledge to become a god. Especially in RPGs.

Mayosapian is such a better burn than cracker that I’m confused as to why it’s not in wider circulation.

It’s the adult version we all need. I can’t recommend it enough.

“You’re dead to me” which is a historical podcast that covers historical events and people hosted by Historian Gregg Jenner from horrible histories, and a guest historian who specializes in said person or event and they try to teach a comedian about that person or event. It’s great.

Oooohhhh, you are in for a ride! Definitely research the name drops, like Ken Takamura because the character work when they are making puns off of these people are so funny.

Out of curiosity, what are your particular grievances that make the films unenjoyable for you?

Preach sister. That shit sucks.

Driving like they don’t care if they die because they have given up.

Part of it is the the way world brought in new people, Capcom has a proven track record over the last few years with banger after banger coming out, and the rise in popularity of “hard” games because of souls titles is bringing in a pretty diverse crowd.
comment in response to post
Not even close. We gotta get realistic with these things because the constant hype of “best thing ever!” Is really exhausting. You could have just said something cool and true like “this is how you capitalize on a steal 😮” and we’d all go “oh yeah, look at that”. 👏

I used to listen to The Half Assed Morning show on 93X in Minnesota when I lived there and Kluwe used to come on every once in a while. Always liked that guy, very down to earth. Now that he’s doing stuff like this I like him even more. Please support him if you can.

No wonder Musk can’t dance. Dudes got 2 left feet.

Sekiro if you want a challenge. Ghost of Tsushima if you want a baller story and to vibe out a while. The new Doom series if you just want straight power fantasy.
comment in response to post
Always, that’s the fun of it for me. But how I do it depends on the authors writing style and the flow of the story. Sometimes I’ve got details spread around me, sometimes it’s trying to remover things as I go on the vibe check.

Megaman music has always slapped. I still sometimes pull up a YouTube playlist and listen while I do the dishes.

Not at all but Walz still works for the government and Hillary has had years since her loss and she’s also married to one of the most beloved presidents ever. Kamala literally just lost. She wanted to help but the nation had just got done saying “not you.”
comment in response to post
She doesn’t work for the government anymore dawg, what do you want her to do? You’ve got just as much sway as her at this moment. Quit complaining and get organizing then. Write to your standing senators, get protesting, start boycotting and start educating.

There are strategies to each of those fights. Some have some glaring weaknesses or like one boss refuses to hit women so you put more women in your party and there’s less healing to worry about, that kind of thing.

Yakuza LAD isn’t that long. I went pretty in depth in it and did most of the side quests and it was still only like 45 hours. That’s pretty good for a JRPG.

You, my friend, have not been in introduced to Japanese light novels. They are almost all named this way. The fantasy ones anyway.

As someone who was a 6 foot 150 pound teenager, I can attest to this being big facts. I’m a 6’1, 190 pound adult and I still look a bit stretched.

Can’t decide if it was getting suspended because I told a kid it’s funny to stick a finger out your zipper because it looks phalic, or teaching most of my class how to line up your schedule to graduate a year early. Got detention and they created 2 new required classes to stop us.

If Musk didn’t receive money from the government to keep his businesses afloat he’d be bankrupt. Who’s really on a government funded gravy train?
comment in response to post
Agreed. But what was the initial goal? What’s the perspective audience size? I also think companies need to tone down the “always gotta grow” attitude and calm down with the graphics because I agree the any game selling that much should be viewed as high selling and successful. This just wasn’t.
comment in response to post
Again, budgets mean a lot. Those early dragon age and mass effect games cost between 25-50 million to develop. Very successful sales on a budget like that. And since the prices for games haven’t changed much in 20 years they need to sell more to be successful.

I’m aware on both accounts. I think I’m one of the few people that thinks it’s a shame we don’t have a solid AA space anymore. Rating every studio’s performance the same when they have wildly different sizes and goals is bad for the industry and creativity. In your view what makes a AAA studio AAA
comment in response to post
When those OGs release on ps2 they definitely didn’t sell that many.
comment in response to post
Upon initial release, no. 4 base did 1 mil, golden did 1.5 mil on vita, 2.5 mil total combining Vita, and modern console rerelease.
comment in response to post
Most Shin Megami tensei games didn’t come to the west until recently and Shin V one of the best selling in that series, only had 1.6 mil sales. Personally, I don’t think Atlus should be considered AAA and should be more AA. Very different size studios with very different scales of production.
comment in response to post
If I give you 20 years of selling 15 mil per release you would expect similar results correct? And if you hover between 500k to 1 mil in sales per release for 20 years and then 1 freak show that sells 10 mil, are you going to expect 10 mil every time going forward or brace for what’s been the norm?
comment in response to post
BioWare also has other large hits like SWOTR and Mass Effect. Atlus doesn’t have a single other game series that’s in the main public consciousness like that. Recognition means a lot.
comment in response to post
But Atlus’s previous games never sold those kinds of numbers. Persona 3 and persona 4 sold about 1 million copies each. Persona 5 is the outlier with 10 million. All of the persona mainline games added together don’t add up to inquisitions sales.
comment in response to post
And seeing as the previous dragon age sold 14 million units lifetime, 6 mil or so in the first year, these are pretty abysmal numbers for EA as they are more “Taylor Swift” than indie when it comes to making big budget games in an established franchise like this.
