This is absolutely brilliant satire that succinctly explains how the Daily Mail radicalises people.

Reform are an absolute stain. They are an absolute menace to humanity, these grifters and charlatans shouldn't be anywhere near decision making. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Oh look, yet another right wing government starting a war. All they know is conflict and aggression. A happy and looked after society is the last thing on their minds www.theguardian.com/world/live/2...

Emily Thornberry, "There is no excuse for holding back on aid, food, supplies into Gaza, the Israel's must let the gates open" "There is going to be a conference in June in New York where the French and the British should recognise the state of Palestine"

'You don't really have the powers to not make it happen?' On #BBCBreakfast Cllr Stephen Atkinson, who was elected to represent Reform UK on Lancashire County Council, was asked about the pledge to prevent migrants being housed in areas where it now controls the council

In the 2025 local elections, Reform UK secured 677 new council seats, taking control of 10 councils, and winning the 2 newly-created mayoralties, marking a change in the UK's political landscape. #ReformUK #LocalElections2025 #ForTheMany #ShareTheMeans www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... 1/6 🧵

🌹 Labour's official policy recognises that First Past the Post is "flawed" and driving "distrust & alienation" in politics ⚠️ Now, multi-party politics is colliding with a 2-party system - and inaction is becoming untenable 🎯 We need a National Commission for Electoral Reform

Our letter is in the Guardian today 👇 "A proportional system wouldn’t just deliver fairer outcomes, it would also help foster more compassionate, consistent and competent politics."

Labour must take responsibility for a battering caused by legitimising far right Reform rhetoric and culture war bullshit. They have the majority to stop it, they need to find their balls, fast. If they carry on they’re not just bending themselves over the barrel, but all of us.

England's broken electoral system strikes again. 93%, 90%, 90%, 87%: the percentages of electors who DIDN'T vote for the winning candidate in West of England, N Tyneside, Doncaster, Lincolnshire. 82% DIDN'T vote for the new MP for Runcorn. This is not democratic representation of the people!

This is a desperate shame for the people of #Lancashire, #Reform. Most are Tories who jumped ship to keep their noses in the trough. They'll see it as a mandate to smash things rather than support the very communities who elected them. It's also a failure of Starmer's Labour govt to engage.

It's taken two cups of coffee before I've dared to look in depth at the election results from yesterday, and the first thing I'm hit with is Andrea Jenkyns stating '...I'm saying no to hotels. Tents are good enough for France, they should be good enough for the UK' and I'm fucking done for the day.

I honestly don’t understand why people dislike the fragrant new mayor of Lincolnshire Dame Andrea Jenkyns. Once you get to know her she is a bundle of laughs! Here she is being hilariously ‘ironic’ saying those with a foreign accent don’t come from this country. Oh ha ha ha! 😳

If this fascist little arse is making headwinds in your country then your mainstream politicians have utterly failed the electorate and they're just acting in the interests of the corporations and the profit takers. #reform #farage #news #localelections

Well done BBC and Labour you did everything you could to get them over the line.

Brexit led to 1,500 deaths a year as EU nurses left UK, study finds. Quality of care dropped as staff were replaced with less experienced nurses, researchers at the University of Surrey say. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Amos Goldberg, Professor of Genocide Studies at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem "Yes, it is genocide. It's so difficult and painful to admit it, but we can no longer avoid this conclusion. Jewish history will henceforth be stained" Is there anyone more qualified and unbiased?

This interview sums up Numpty's first 100 days perfectly Lying Blaming someone else Hostile when challenged Denying the obvious truth Bullying Acting as if people should be grateful for his benevolence Denying the rule of law Everything he does is great www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

This exchange is so very telling. Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this: "I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

#Blair shilling for corporate interests here. "Blair says people in developed countries don’t think their governments’ climate policies will make much difference." Yes, because corporations use MSM etc. to spread their message of policies bad profit first. www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...

“We are over the shock of the American betrayal, but we should never forget the lessons. We have to look out for ourselves and above all, we have to take care of each other” - Mark Carney

Israel and its rabid Zionists settlers laid bare by the BBC Netanyahu weaponised them for the sole reason of maintaining his power and privilege. It had nothing to do with what's good for Israel. Watch it now before the BBC is forced to take it down. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio...

This is how the UK government works: This is why we need #independence

In May 2023, the residents of Mid Suffolk voted for change when they elected the first majority Green council in the UK. So what have they been doing since then? Is it a new model? Definitely worth a read. 👇

Interesting reaction in some of the comments. Yes as I say in the clip - this man died under Tory disability cuts that were cruel & heartless. Since then: Labour are continuing cuts & making them even worse. Do people expect those needing support to be ok just because ministers wear red ties now?

It’s Election Day, Canada. Go vote Canada Strong.

Great to see this and happy for London but what about the other UK regions? Better infrastructure, and better facilities is the answer... #ifyoubuildittheywillcome

All I've heard this morning from #R4Today is story after story attacking the left, socialism, society etc. e.g. Alberta (RW leaders spouting nonsense about succeeding) NHS winter crisis (after years of Tory austerity) EY Club revised forecast (no comment re FTSE Execs getting 11% ave pay rise)

Numpty and his acolytes riffing on the US economy for the sole reason of having power and privilege via the MAGA base. They haven't a clue and a disaster is coming. #econsky

"Another ecological disaster is occurring in Teesside. It can be difficult to keep track of the widespread environmental vandalism caused by the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) and its business associates. But the scale of the Redcar P+R devastation is particularly sudden and stark."

So Farage with 4 MPs and 126 councillors (most elected as Tories) gets a full interview but the Greens also with 4 MPs but 810 councillors seems to get an any other business slot #bbclaurak

"Are you a Palestinian?" "Yes" "Goodbye" Apartheid in Israel. I wonder where else certain racial groups were treated as 2nd class citizens? From Louis Theroux's new documentary The Settlers on the BBC until Israel forces them to remove it.
