Agreed! Also, the point about showing care as a differentiator got an audible “hell yeah” while I was listening on a walk. :)

Before you pivot in your creative business, ask yourself how you can level up your care, excellence, joy, and connection in what you are currently doing?
Because creators that crush go deeper in their thing before shifting to creating courses, coaching, speaking, or "the new thing".

This allowed him to serve with more heart and care - which helped him connect more with his students, understand how to best help them, and charge more in the process.

So Jeremy asked the question - how can I scale, deliver stellar results for my audience, AND feel connected to my students?
The solution was to go back to where he started, and focus on 1:1 work to drive his creative business.

Jeremy went from a successful coaching business, to coursework, because he wanted to scale up his impact. But he realized creating courses disconnected him from this audience, and disconnected his audience from results.

We coach, and then think we need to create courses to create “passive income” and scale, when our heart is not really in courses.
That’s what @jeremyenns.bsky.social shared on this week’s episode of Aggressively Human. (Shout out to host @jessicalackey.bsky.social)

The more and more I've subscribed to things, the more I am interested in "what problem does this help me solve."
The number matters way less than "will this help me/provide value consistently?"
That's my take. :)

I've packaged these insights into a 5-day framework for creators who want to work smarter, not harder.

These aren't complex strategies. But they make the difference between struggling and thriving as a creator.

They've built systems around three key areas:
→ Energy management, to prevent burnout
→ Focused creation time, to make their best work
→ Strategic relationships, that amplify their work

After years in the creator economy, I've noticed something interesting: the 7% who break six figures aren't just working harder—they're working differently.

Try this:
→ Pick your most important thing to move forward, and spend at least 10 minutes making progress on it!

These small changes helped him maximize work-time without sacrificing family-time.
Most creators don’t realize how productive they can be—until life forces them to be. But you don’t need to wait.

Finding time to do everything is a challenge—so he made key shifts:
- Engage with his community daily (but efficiently) to stay motivated
- Commit to 10 minutes of progress at a time—not zero-to-completion.
- Focus on the most important things each day

All I can think is that there is potential energy getting stored right now, and all it will take is a clear vision forward to spring it all into action.
I can't be the only one who feels pissed off about what's going on, with no clear way to channel it into something good and helpful.

Productivity is value, not volume. It’s serving in your greatest capacity, in a sustainable way.
If you add tons of value with a high volume, and it doesn’t wreck you, that’s productive.
If you create one thing that adds tons of value, that productive, too.
I agree volume is not productivity!

What’s your biggest struggle with creating while working full-time?

She hired a book coach, set deadlines, and worked in structured blocks instead of squeezing in time randomly. If you’re struggling to create, stop looking for more hours.
Look for better systems, accountability, and strategy.

Why? Because “time” wasn’t the issue—her routine was.
Here’s what actually works: Instead of forcing creativity into an already packed schedule, she changed her *approach*—by getting external accountability.

But guess what? Even people with all the time in the world still struggle. Dr. Luissa K thought the answer was waking up early to write. She tried doing 15 minutes every morning. And guess what? She quit after a week.

This is true. I find my creative energy is best the earlier I get to making after waking up. Feed your creative impulses early, and before you do anything else. Maybe that's just me?

Because hitting those content deadlines = building a real business.
Sometimes being your own boss means you need to build a network that keeps you accountable 🎯
Anyone relate?

But here's the thing: I want my coaching business to thrive, and that means not going back to a corporate job.
The solution?
Find accountability partners who'll kept me on track, whether it's a coach, mastermind group, or account-a-billa-buddy.

Agreed! It’s hard to not have imposter syndrome when you care deeply about what you are working on.
When you realize you care deeply, it’s easier to get into effort and learning!

I’ve long followed the idea of management time (1-hour meeting increments) vs project time (.5 to 1 day increments).
Trying to group project/admin/comm meetings was a struggle on a team, and super helpful for programming/creating when I could pull it off.

An old co-worker and I would play a game in meetings where we would try to guess who was the loudest vs quietest, who held informal vs formal authority, etc… in the room.
It helped me advocate for lost voices in meetings, and prevented some catastrophic decisions the “confident” people pushed.

This exactly. Years ago, I think Kara Swisher did this to the Parlor CEO, to great effect, right after Jan 6. It's POWERFUL when it happens.

This is NOT how you build a long-term career.
🚀 Rest is productive.
🚀 Breaks make you better.
🚀 Your energy is your most valuable asset.
Create a system that sustains you, not one that breaks you.
What do you do that sustains you, not breaks you?

(2/2) Steal this simple framework I use every morning:
1️⃣ What am I excited for today?
2️⃣ What 1-3 actions will move my creative career forward?
3️⃣ What potential obstacles could stop me, and how will I handle them?
Spend 5 minutes on this, and your focus & momentum will skyrocket! #creators
