Don’t come crying to me, I don’t wanna hear it You didn’t care, how others would fare You wanted this, now deal with it Cause I don’t wanna hear it, I’m done with you How do I know you knew? Because I told you! #ThePoet

7 days in to this Sheffield snowfall, it’s just as difficult to get around the city, but incredibly beautiful as a consolation prize ❄️🥶

Hard to get around Sheffield atm…but nice to look out at ❄️

Phew…they got here despite all the snow! 🌟👑👑👑

A light, gone out, just when the darkest hour approaches. Heartbreaking. www.bbc.com/news/article...

December dawn over Sheffield this morning…just wow 🤩

The sky over #Sheffield this morning 🌅 🤩

An inspirational tale for aspiring journalists. Remember, if you're a sibling of the former Prime Minister, and close personal friends with the current editor of your favourite magazine, and his ex-wife, you too can achieve your childhood dream of becoming its columnist

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

First snow of winter in Sheffield…November snow is quite rare, and from my recall it doesn’t necessarily indicate a cold winter ahead. November snow in some years has been the only white stuff we end up seeing all season. Let’s see what lies ahead 🤔❄️

One last colourful autumn day in Sheffield before winter arrives later this week 🍂🍁❄️

‘Winter’ morning sunrises are always spectacularly beautiful…reminding me that even in the dark season there can be a few rays of hope. Something tells me, we’ll need a few hopeful rays in the coming dark times, with the haters in the ascendancy.

Well on the bright side, my addiction to news has completely vanished.

What we know so far:

Mary Trump's writing on her uncle is always insightful.

Looking spooky around Sheffield yesterday 🎃🎃🎃

First frost on my car this morning, and the autumn foliage is getting better day on day. Feeling very seasonal 🍁🍂🍄🌻🍎🎃

Really dazzling! 🍂🍁

Loving the way Sheffield Botanical Gardens was modelling this year’s autumn collection this morning!

A nippy October dawn over Sheffield city centre.

All the wild moods of North Donegal during an early autumn spell of turbulent weather 🌊

A cold feed of northwesterly winds all the way from the Arctic, bringing pure, crisp air, 50 mph gusts and no doubt a few beefy showers before too long. In the meantime breathing in the September sun in Fanad.

Fanad in North Donegal, during a stormy, chilly autumn blast. My favourite place on the planet!

‘Home’ for a jaunt, and enjoying the view of the River Maine, in Randalstown, its bridge and the railway viaduct above.
