If I had a band or a label, I would do a punk cover of "No More Kings" from Schoolhouse Rock. And then I would gather a bunch of people to write a whole album of next-generation Schoolhouse Rock songs, with songs about Social Security and Medicaid and NOAA. I am not kidding in the least.

My dad passed away this morning. He was 93 and surround by his family. It was as good an end as any of us could hope for. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He loved 31 Flavors Baseball Nut and Chicago sports teams. He played handball until his late 80s when he switched to pickleball.
