Longer story is in a quote tweet I on the original tweet. I flew home to get emergency infusions for my arm and chest; now Cleveland clinic outpatient can’t start outpatient services for a few months since it’s not a transfer from hospital. I’m so scared and i can’t stop screaming from pain all day

Maine Trailer 5304539. I may not live longer than a few weeks/months. My PICC line spread CRPS all over my body - as did the car crash - and I’m in bad shape with bad prognosis. My arm is cold and dead. Please bring him to justice in case I can’t. Get him off the road so he can’t hurt others.

Please resd my update on the retweet quote post I did on my original post? I’m in SOS mode and afraid I’ll die soon.
I got license plate. Maine Trailer license plate is 5304539. Cops gave up looking for him. Please don’t let him get away with this in case I die. Get this guy off the road. Thanks 💙

Also. The semi truck that hit me did a hit and run. I finally got the license plate. Cops gave up looking for the guy. It’s a Maine license plate: 5304539. It’s a trailer semi truck.
Please help me find him. Internet do your thing.

to fly home to get infusions, or do I stay in Cleveland hoping to get outpatient investigation and care by the good outpatient docs? I’m not sure I’ll even make it to San Diego, or ever be able to come back here.
Thank you for your advice

…need cardiology clearance which the hospital wont give me (seriously what is wrong with he people in this hospital, even the nurses are complaining about my care. That could take weeks. I’m not sure I’ll get infusions here in a timely manner to mitigate my CRps spread).
So do I try to….

Also they’re the best docs in the country besides the Mayo Clinic. But, I don’t get infusions. Their infusion center is booked up for 6-8 weeks. Maybe I can find a ketamine clinic here in Cleveland, but I’m not an established patient. One clinic said they wouldn’t use my PICC line (so weird). Id…

Option 2: stay in Cleveland, get my care turned over to outpatient doc. Internal medicine doc has been emailing me all along saying they’re awaiting my discharge form hospital. They can’t help me while I’m here. For context Cleveland clinic outpatient works extremely fast and refer within same day.

… But he’s a good ketamine infusion doc. I’m afraid no airplane will let me board under this condition, or that they’ll ground the plane and I end up in a fly over state with bad medical care.
Or…. Option 2…..

can’t help me until I get discharged; and my pain doctor is on medical leave.
I now have two options:
1. fly home to San Diego and get emergency infusions for my CRPS from my anesthesiologist. For context, he’s not a pain management doc, not a CRPS specialist, not physical medicine or rehab…

.. is the worse pain I’ve ever felt. Also my left arm. I understand why people amputate their arm from CRPS now. Holy shit.
like their outpatient services, their inpatient hospital sucks. Not sure if it’s due to holidays, but it’s been horrible. I’ve barely been seen by any doctors. Outpatient…

…crash.
I’ve been on and off in a low dose ketamine drip since k got here, and that’s masked some of the pain. The ketamine drip got cut off last night, and since then, HOLY SHIT am in pain that I haven’t felt all along. There’s this weird pain in the right side of the back of the head that is…

… the CRPS obviously spread to my left arm. They want to take the PICC line out cause it’s irritating my arm. I agree. But at same time it’s my ONLY way to get IV access due to my messed up clotted and scarred veins, and I need Iv access to treat the CRPS from the very line and the semi truck…

And the 0.5/kg/hr makes it so I can’t even process or cry. I obviously want this PiiC line out of me asap, but without working veins I won’t be able to get the infusions necessary to damage control the CRPS spread to my arm, chest, and shoulder. Nothing makes sense anymore.

The PIIC line made my CRPS spread to my left arm and shoulder and chest. I wanna drown. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Omg. They’re now saying the CRPS has spread to the arm and chest. From the PIIC line. I’ve been complaining about PIIC line since minute one.

I’m at my wits end over here and all I wanna do is drown myself in the ocean. It’s been 5 years of agonizing pain, medical gaslighting, loss of personhood, hobbies, identity, activity, and so on. I’m tired of having to fight for basic healthcare and compassion

No I mean it - I don’t even feel the IV fluids. I usually pee nonstop. I’m not peeing at all.

I’m not doing well at all. I haven’t eaten in 3 days. I keep telling them the PIIC line or the wiring must be faulty because I feel ZERO effects of ketamine and my pain is only increasing. No one believes me.

They gave me a PIIC line. I’ve complained about the PIIC line since second one. If it the most hurtful thing in the worlds. I cannot move my arm or head or upper body without going into severe pain. They have me hooked up to 0.3mg, and I keep telling them I don’t feel it. I am speaking normally. I…

I’m not religious, but, bless your soul. Do you want to move to San Diego? Lots of clinics there, but only for mental health. I go to LA for my infusions. There’s only one in SD, but the doctor used two mystery substances with it, won’t let you what it is, and won’t release his data. Charges a lot

MY IV’s infiltrated a few hours after starting the drip. and now I don’t have a single vein left so they have to wait for the PIIC line team to come in in a day or two ;(

That they do. Thank you for the work you do. Wish you were here haha

I agree. I quickly jumped into the literature and found out I need at least 1mg/kg/hr. Either way, the IV infiltrated, as did the next - and now I’m out of veins. So they stopped the drip after a few hours and now I have to wait days for a PIIC line team. Very worried about my CRPS

They’ve got me on 0.3mg/kg/hr for 48 hours which is not sufficient for a patient with CRPS and acute stomach pains who got HIT BY A SEMI TRUCK. Jesus these docs are so stingy with the ketamine. So odd, it’s the safest anesthetic

Both acute and chronic pain teams in hospitals provide ketamine for pain relief. In my particular case, they’re doing it to mitigate CRPS spread because I got hit by a semi truck on freeway. I’ve had inpatient ketamine at USC and Cedars Sinai for various reasons. I’m happy to answer any Q’s

It’s not revenge, it’s making sure he doesn’t do this to someone else. Waiting to get a copy of the police report so I can get the full plates, then I’ll absolutely call a lawyer. I’ve had it with people who injure others with zero regard. Thank you for the tip.
