If the continuing resolution passes, doesn't this make the DOGE cuts LEGAL? (and lawsuits moot?)

ok, so i don't know goats. but my kiddos are pet-sitting goats, and they are not shaggy, and they have longer ears (i think) than Santiago. are other goats welcome in the goativational? if so, how?

Bill Cassidy, a *medical doctor* voted yes. He is up for reelection in 2026. Shame on Bill Cassidy.

Howdy friend! I KNOW you love the #vagus, because who doesn't?!? I encourage and support scientists who want to share their research data openly sparc.science. So many super clever, super fun scientists that study the #neuromodulation of #PNS are here. Can I introduce you?

I'd like to learn more about DNETs & behavior signs, especially for those in the parietal lobe. Do you have resources, articles to help me learn? I'm a #neuroscientist, but this isn't my wheelhouse. I am my family's resource rn. Can you help?

Pediatric #neurologist identifies it as a DNET - rare -especially for the location in the parietal lobe - and benign 🎉 This is an incidental finding, which should buy some time to identify the best treatment plan. But now, other questions & stress. What about my brother's job? What then?

Initially physicians dismissed it as toddler non-compliance in the loud CT scanner, but the radiology technologist was firm. A night in the hospital and a MRI was ordered for Christmas eve. [BIG shout out to awesome #radiology peeps]. MR confirmed the abnormal finding.

She went sledding with her family and bumped her head, the day before Christmas eve. The next morning, she vomited and complained of head pain. A prompt visit to the ED and a CT scan confirmed no #brainInjury, but instead the CT operator noticed something else.

But most of all, NIH funding is about people. People lose their jobs, and careers derailed and carefully planned experiments are ruined, whenever grants are disrupted. #KeepNIHstrong We need study sections and grant funding to resume.

And there's patents. For every $100 million of funding, NIH-supported research generates 76 patents. These patents create opportunities for an estimated $598 million in further research and development. They generate 20% value than other US patents.

Our health and economy depends on NIH, especially here in VT

Found this gem this weekend! I remember thinking I would attach it to my MBL lanyard to wear to conferences, but then... covid. Now that I think of it, I'm coordinating a Emerging Scientist award for a meeting, it's time to do a little shopping! They deserve some bling.

Von Economo neurons for sure. i'm also a fan of matriarch neurons, however, I'm not sure of their function

🧪 The SPARC Portal already checks the NIH Wishlist boxes ✅. If you're part of the #PNS , #NeuroMod or #systemsPhysiology community, we'd be host your research data, models and devices. sparc.science

I am so sorry that you are forced to deal with this possibility; and hope it doesn't become a reality for you and anyone else that clinical trials are suspended.

o man! It's been a minute since I ordered from them. Why did their store close up?
