You have done the Mashed Potatoes, the Watusi, and the Jerk. This weekend, try doing THE MONKEY.

Amen to that.

Did you hear about the Italian chef? He pasta away. Get it? I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Just when you think Donald Trump cannot sink lower or be more shameful, today he's blaming Ukraine for the war and calling Zelinsky a dictator, when he knows perfectly well that Putin's constant re-elections are put-up jobs.

Drudge Report dubs the Prez Comrade Trumpski. MAGA, is that what you voted for? A coward bowing to Putin ?

I understand that Big Brother Musk is now going through Americans' tax returns. Remember that IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH and FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.

Don’t buy stuff on February 28. Money’s the only thing these dicks understand. #resist

Hilarious NYT headline: REPUBLICANS LOVE TRUMP’S SPENDING CUTS. JUST NOT IN THEIR STATES.

Trump voters: Had enough yet?

Trump and Musk are basically ignoring the Constitution they--Trump, at least--took an oath to defend.

If Musk, Capo Trump’s enforcer, meant to freeze the work of government, he’s doing a great job. By short-circuiting the legislative process, he has invited (and is receiving) lawsuits that will freeze everything in place. This is what Amateur Hour gets you.

FYI:

Elon Musk, that avatar or arrogance, is trashing the US Constitution. Trumpers, is this what you voted for? An end to America?

We're living George Orwell's 1984: IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

Susan Collins, who can be counted on for saying she's "very disappointed," says she will vote for Tulsi Gabbard.

Get them out of government. Most not old enough to be elected to anything. One suspects they are part of Musk’s gaming posse.

Tariff-inflated prices pass the pain along to consumers, many of whom voted for Trump. Good job, asshole.

USAID is a criminal organization,” Mr. Musk wrote on Sunday in a social media post that many aid workers saw as confirmation the agency would soon be absorbed into the State Department and that some viewed as a potential threat to their personal safety. “Time for it to die.” THIS HAS TO STOP.

I had the sweetest dream last night. I was driving on the LIE and there was Donald Trump in a red jumpsuit, picking up trash beside the highway.

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

Trump is an extremely dangerous man--stupid, vindictive, fixated on payback for his enemies. This country will be lucky to survive him.

"Does your dog bite?" "No, it's worse... she judges"

Really love this cartoon from the great Michael De Adder. The outpouring of support coming in has been truly amazing! Thanks everybody!

THE OLIGARCH'S DAUGHTER, Joseph Finder: Balls-to-the-wall chase/adventure/thriller/mystery. Published today. It's a trip.

Could the last principled person leaving the Pentagon install a breathalyzer test to unlock our missile silos? Please and thank you.

The Hegseth confirmation shows that Republican lawmakers have put party over country. They should be ashamed, but I doubt if they are.

The past several days have proven without a shadow of a doubt that Project 2025 is real and underway. And those who warned America about it were right.

Sometimes people ask me what TV shows I’ve been watching and I’ll make something up because I don’t want to tell them that I’ve been falling asleep to the same episode of La Brea for five and a half months.

As best you can, ignore him.

Pretty zen, dude.

Those present at the inauguration were mostly (if not all) white, rich, and males wearing ties. Trump’s core supporters were left out in the cold. Think about it.

How about Mariska Hagitay kicking ass in an R-rated Liam Neeson-style action picture? I'd go see that.

That Biden should have to issue preemptive pardons for men and women who defended the Constitution is a sad comment on Trump's vengeful nature.

Biden has issued preemptive pardons for many of Trump's supposed enemies. In a year or so, Joe's presidency will gain considerable luster.

Donald Trump will be indoors for the inauguration with his billionaire pals. His core supporters will be left outside in the cold. Think about that.

Incredible stuff ahead. dc.eater.com/2025/1/17/24...

I hear what you guys are saying about the Oscars, and how they're a celebration of life, and the show must go on, blah-blah-blah, so-on-and-so-forth. It all makes a degree of sense, but to me it still feels like Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Or in this case, wearing fancy clothes while LA burns.

Sorry to hear about David Lynch. I worked beside him (same studio) while he was making BLUE VELVET. He answered my questions about his work with grace and honesty. I especially enjoyed his deeply existential comic strip, The Angriest Dog in the World.”

Dig it, yeah.

Not voting in the Oscars this year. IMHO they should cancel them. No glitz with Los Angeles on fire.

No point following the confirmation hearings. The grand high poobahs of the Republican party are going to give them all a pass. How about that guy Tuberville? He makes MTG look like a Mensa scholar.

If brains were black powder, Marjorie Taylor Greene couldn’t even blow her nose.

Trump doesn’t mean any of that shit, he’s just saying outrageous crap so he can get clicks.

🎶 Fruitcake! You’re. burning in the dump! Fruitcake! You voted for Trump! 🎵

I thought "Good Thing," by the Fine Young Cannibals, was actually "Fruitcake." The song goes "Good Thing, where have you gone?" And I thought it was "Fruitcake! What have you done?" Okay. Just wanted to get that off my chest.
