And we don't want to be spending big and putting $ on the back end of contracts because we will need a Brinks-Mat truck to pay Jayden. Still need to hit in the draft and use free agency to supplement the roster.

We would also have to pay Terry the same, he needs a new deal and no way he accepts less than Higgins

I know one of the School buses used to come from Hanley bus station. Dave Barlow was a Shelton lad (Rectory Road I think) and he would have gone to school on that bus.

I remember it being a pool hall and playing pool in the one in Longton and Ramones being on the Jukebox. Not sure if it was a snooker hall before.

I played snooker in there when downstairs was Burtons, never used it when you could drink up there.

Wetherspoons killed Stoke. A lot of pubs died when Wetherspoons opened.

I drank in the Wheatsheaf when Dave had Charlies. Landlords in Stoke all had to put up with crap at sometimes, always seemed to be something going on.

Yes I knew about Dave. I used to bump into him at Stoke games occasionally when he was with Rob Cocker (Marty). He was a good lad. I remember Tiko had a band and I'm sure they played The Talbot.

I was in the same Geography class as Martin Teece. Was John Dean head boy at St Peters, I do remember him and I was good pals at school and 6th form with Dave Barlow

Were you in the same year as Lee Chapman at 6th Form, he was a year older than me?

That's a blast from the past, I'm surprised I can't remember you from then because I managed to spend some lunch times in there when I was at 6th form. Never saw Bar billiards anywhere else apart from the TV program Indoor League. (God I'm old)

Not that I can remember, I'm a Fenton lad who knocked about in Stoke back then. The Gordon was my local.

I've always thought they looked cheap and could not understand how anyone would pay what they are asking for them.

I would rather have any brand of German car before I would have a Tesla. In fact I would rather walk (if I could 🙂) before I would have a Tesla and WTF is the cybertruck?

He never bothered with a running game when he was OC for Washington and ruined whatever chance Sam Howell had as a starter in the NFL so good luck with this.
