So I took my car to be serviced and forgot I left Costco products in my trunk. The mechanic asked me how much the 4-pack of hand soap containers was. I told him. When I came back to pick up my car, there were Costco hand soaps in the bathroom. The mechanic and me.

In court: We grabbed the wrong guy. On Fox News: We got Kingpin.

The administration that called Canada “the 51st state” and said “we’re going to get” Greenland is suddenly cowed by sovereignty.

It’s only a matter of time before Trump blames Poland for being invaded by the Nazis.

beyond parody — the White House cites Trump’s “frequent victories in golf events” as evidence of his health

The United States is the richest country in the history of the world. But who benefits from those riches? Consider: the richest 10% of Americans hold nearly 70% of the nation’s wealth – while the bottom 50% hold just 3%. See the problem?

Never forget: they are actively trying to destroy the planet too.

Can we Americans still spell C-O-R-R-U-P-T-I-O-N? And why did this story break today in the Financial Times, a London newspaper?

Rodrick, the Harvard economist, said there was “absolutely no relationship between a country’s trade deficit and how well it’s doing.” He pointed out that both Venezuela and Russia run trade surpluses. “Does the US really want to be a Venezuela or a Russia?” www.nytimes.com/2025/04/09/b...

Via New York Times: “The DOJ prosecutor who questioned the Trump administration’s decision to deport a Maryland man to El Salvador has been placed on indefinite paid leave for a “failure to zealously advocate” for the department — less than 24 hours after defending the gov’t in federal court.”

Hoo boy. How long until Trump pardons him?

Turns out it’s *not* good to have stupid and malicious people in charge

5 things Trump did this week: 1. Skipped ceremony for 4 dead soldiers 2. Repeatedly tanked the stock market 3. Tariffed an island of penguins 4. Fired thousands from the Centers of Disease Control 5. Left the White House early on Thursday for a long golf tournament weekend

The Dow is down over 1500 points in a day.

A more innocent time, before the threat of penguins forced his hand

Closely inspecting the list of tariffs/countries posted by the White House, Trump did not put tariffs on Russia. Ukraine's tariff is 10%, the EU's is 20%, and every American ally is on the list. But not Russia.

“There is no administration in the world — beyond this one — where a blunder of these proportions happens and nobody gets fired or resigns. Not in London. Not in Moscow. Not in Tokyo. Not in Pyongyang. Nowhere.” www.politico.com/newsletters/...

If the White House is insisting that there was no classified or secret information in the Signal chat, does that mean Jeffrey Goldberg can publish it all?

Flashback:

Under this theory, Marco Rubio can expel Canadians who say “you should stop threatening to annex Canada.”

What's good for the goose...

🇺🇦🇺🇸 JD Vance’s cousin fought for over two years in Ukraine as part of the "Da Vinci Wolves." "JD is smart, but what they did to Zelensky was a dishonest ambush. Being relatives doesn’t mean I’ll accept him aiding in the killing of my comrades."

We need a Navalny, not a Newsom. No offense intended against mainstream politicians like Newsom. It’s just that at this point we are way beyond the realm of normal bullshit politics.

What a weird way to say: Under Biden… ‘23, ‘24 real GDP growth exceeded expectations Inflation was tamed without a recession A record 16.6 million jobs created A record 21 million new business applications Lowest avg unemployment of any admin in > 50 years… But, you be you, Mike…

No bone spurs detected.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.
