Didn't do that but I live close by so I can do it later. The turkeys did see me off in the road tho, a bunch of females and three males with their tail feathers up giving a show

No. Most of us didn't. Not the first time or the second time. It's absolutely beyond shameful.

I've made a new rule for myself. Whenever I find myself doomscrolling and come across one of your threads, I read it and then put my phone down for the night, ensuring that the last thing I read is lovely. Thank you!

I haven't watched that show but I keep seeing ads - is it worth a watch?

I fully intend to transition into making final designs in silver once I'm confident in my skills and have a little extra $$ for supplies, but copper is great for learning new techniques Having said that, I love copper and all the colors you can bring out with heat, it's so much fun to work with

I'm still learning, and compared to silver, copper is cheap. Copper is a bit more forgiving and doesn't melt as easily Working with copper is helping me learn to judge how much (actually how little) solder I need. Too much solder is super obvious on copper bc it shows as silver

Things I learned: You can skip quenching by putting the annealed piece between 2 bench blocks for 10 seconds to cool. That way you don't have water all over. Marking where you want the folds with a sharpie helps get your folds in the right place. I need to pay more attention to leaves. 🙄

Lol I'm so mean I even let him have 3 cookies at dinner. Those dumb machines have been an obsession for him and I've been telling him for months it's so easy to lose all your money, so tonight I let him do it. He claims he'll never play them again lol

The one on the left reminds me of the colors in unakite, it's one of my favorite finds around here (Photo from Google)

That would be fun! I'm learning how to cab but wouldn't even know where to start with faceting!

I told her maybe she should keep it whole bc right after she handed it off to me I won a free drink and a $20 gift card at the bar raffle so maybe it's lucky but she said we can each have half if we cut it in two
