Congressman: thank you for posting this. Brings back my memory of discovering the great Dizzy Gillespie. I was a DJ and subbed for the host of a jazz show. After a week of study (I know nothing about jazz), I opened the show by playing the live version of “Kush.” 🎶🔥🎶❤️

I could look this up to be sure — but didn’t Cummings win ROTY? Of the three, Worthy had probably the worst rookie season and then broke his leg in the Lakers playoff loss to Philly (with Moses Malone). Back then, I wished the Lakers had picked Wilkins or Cummings. Changed my mind over time, tho’
