True story.

This is thuggery from Trump and Vance, plain and simple. They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.

This is brutal. Donald Trump is only interested in money and power. President Zelenskyy is trying to save his people and country. Russia and US have agreed to carve-up Ukraine, Russia getting territory and US getting mineral wealth. Trump is no ally for any country.

I can't stand bullies. President Zelensky is now trying to stand up against two of them. We should have his back. #SlavaUkraïni

I have no words! Slava Ukraini

A timely moment to remember that Donald Trump dodged the draft & JD Vance wondered a few short years ago whether he would turn out to be 'America's Hitler'...

An epically disgraceful press conference from Vance and Trump with a beleaguered and entirely dignified Zelensky. Vance and Trump shouting at him about gratitude and telling him he’s in a weak position. Fuckawful entitled bullies making a holy show of themselves and their country on the world stage.

In this new world, if you're not around the table, you're on the menu. If China, Russia, US are allowed to decide Europe's future, our future won't be ours. European leaders...lead! on.ft.com/3CQFzlI

As Brexit’s impact deepens, Independent readers question the true cost of leaving the EU Five years after Brexit, the UK is grappling with economic challenges, trade barriers, and rising public regret, sparking debates on whether closer ties with the EU www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Warmest January ever. How is it unexpected?? We are not lifting a finger to halt climate change. You just announced that Norway are going ahead with the Rosebank oil field. Heathrow is building a third runway. The U.S. is doing its drill drill drill. What’s unexpected? #r4today #ClimateChange

This cartoon by Guy Venables was in the “Metro” LAST WEEK!

Those Brexit benefits again, eh?

“What is crystal clear is that, five years on from the UK’s technical Brexit, there is nothing to celebrate on this front. Demoralisingly, looking ahead, it seems that the UK Government is not going to do that much to alleviate the Brexit damage” www.heraldscotland.com/politics/vie...

Those who didn’t buy into the lies knew it would turn out this way. The dumbest still think we should be celebrating, Brexit has been a total disaster!! #RejoinTheEU 🇪🇺

Ooops another thing the dipshit Tories didn’t think about #RejoinEU

Time to join the LibDems or Greens because this shit is enough for me. Labour & Reeves have lost their marbles.

UK will not accept EU offer to join pan-European customs union 'at present time', minister says Heaven help us www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...

Feels like a good time to repost this! Brexit reduced goods exports by £27bn – with smaller firms most affected #Starmer must respond positively to Sefcovic now. Rejoining the customs union is a sure way to economic growth www.lse.ac.uk/News/Latest-...

Let’s do it

Seriously Telegraph..

Sounds like a plan

The (unloved) Brexit consensus across the Westminster parties is wobbling. Why Ed Davey's speech calling for a UK/EU customs union is a big moment. Me on Substack open.substack.com/pub/goodalla...

We need to #RejoinEU asap It was a criminally procured result to destabilise the West and it's worked! petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...

The fact that so many are being taken in by an insane pitch from right wing politicians that the UK needs to leave the ECHR - based on a wildly inaccurate & misleading premise - is an indictment of UK media’s inability to call it out Leaving the ECHR will undermine all our rights. It’s that simple

"Once a hub for news, debate, and connection, Twitter has devolved into a cesspit of hate and chaos. Today, I’m sending my final tweet."

‘Falsifying business records after paying hush money to an adult film star.’ Sometimes you need to hear the headline to fully appreciate the story…

Liz Truss accuses Starmer of “harming her reputation”. Please repost if you agree she doesn’t need his help in achieving this.

He doesn't turn up in Clacton, he didn't turn up in Brussels, he doesn't turn up in Westminster.

Our tabloid press in the UK are so craven... ...that when a foreign billionaire in a foreign government attacks our national reputation - they make no effort at national defence or balance in reporting, but just eat up and regurgitate the red meat. The British tabloid press is anti-British.

#MartinBrundle didn't hold back! 🥶 And it's exactly why I moved here! #F1 #ElonMusk

Brexit has been a historic disaster and we all know it. Economically, politically & culturally a disaster. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Yup.

"Research from the Centre for Economic Performance, a think tank based at the London School of Economics, said Brexit led to a 6.4 per cent drop in the UK’s global exports and a 3.1 per cent decline in imports into the UK from the rest of the world” www.thetimes.com/business-mon...

Good to hear “There is a remarkable consensus on both sides of the Channel that the time is ripe for a reassessment of EU-UK relations,” it concluded, with closer relations being the most popular option in every country surveyed – and public opinion on the question well ahead of government stances.

Last race weekend and I’m at a wedding so won’t be watching live. Enjoying this driver pic where George and Max have been forced to sit next to each other. Can’t decide whether Gasly’s hand on George’s shoulder, is in solidarity or more“leave it he’s not worth it” #qatargp 🏁🏎️

“Much as we may wish to be finished with Brexit, Brexit is not finished with us. Brexit looms over, limits and infects everything we try to achieve. It is not a perfectible arrangement. It is a dud arrangement.” The speech Starmer should give. www.theneweuropean.co.uk/matthew-danc...

“British businesses are biting back, blaming mind-boggling Brexit bureaucracy for the £3bn-a-year hit to food exports.“ 📉

Seems that putting up trade barriers with our huge neighbouring trade bloc does not in fact make trade ‘free’, give us control or reduce red tape… Seems it just means endless cost, hassle, form-filling, loss of competitiveness and ball-ache. For nothing. liveapp.inews.co.uk/category/sma...

Why is the government not capable wiping the floor with Nigel Farage every single day like this? Alastair Campbell effortlessly destroys him over his Brexit legacy which by almost every economic and financial measure has been disastrous for the country

Good morning all! ☕️ This morning, I have a request. I’m excited about the pro-EU community rebuilding on Bluesky with so much energy happening here. It’s *perfect* for what we need to be doing in 2025. Therefore, could you please follow these local pro-EU groups …and yes, I will make a list.
