Perhaps if insurance companies didn’t have such control over pricing and availability, and attorneys didn’t have such power with malpractice suits, the cost of care would be more reasonable. Inflating costs for uninsured folks so that insurance companies can get discounts may not be best practice.

I totally agree. The whole situation about revoking the plea deal was politically motivated, and I applaud President Biden for taking this action. This whole situation must have been very hard on the entire family.
