We will still need Republican senators to convict him. Hard to know if that will happen because conservative views change depending on what direction the wind (Trump) is blowing. Many will line up behind him to fight regardless.

Those people are unprincipled and argue in bad faith. I stopped wasting my time debating Trump supporters a long time ago. They have no actual convictions other than Trump is great. Everything else is semantics to them.

His approval got down into the low 30s his final months in the white house. He's around 40-45% BEFORE the tariffs, so still some ways to go.
