When your neighbor needs help, you help them. When that neighbor's neighbor needs help, you still help them. When that neighbor's neighbor's neighbor needs help, you'd best believe you help them too. That's community.

In Minnesota, we value the people who care for our veterans, even if DOGE doesn’t. If Trump fired you, come work for the State of Minnesota and help take care of our vets.

Donald Trump’s cuts to Medicaid will blow a massive hole in our state budget and leave thousands without care. There’s a storm coming from Washington. Republicans and Democrats should work together to protect our state from Trump. Defend our people, not the President.

I keep hearing Republicans claim their budget doesn't cut Medicaid. We all know that's a lie — so I asked the nonpartisan CBO to look into it. Their analysis confirms it: the Republican budget delivers the largest Medicaid cuts in history to pay for giveaways to billionaires.

"America does not need a 'resistance,' or stale slogans, or people putting those slogans on little paddles. It needs an opposition party that boldly defends the nation’s virtues, the rule of law, and the rights of its people," writes @RadioFreeTom: www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

so anyway it's clear that most Congressional Democrats do not understand the gravity of our national crisis because it was this easy for some guy in Tampa to predict exactly what was going to happen

Reagan has been dead for over 30 years, not a single person under 45 has a substantive living memory of him as president, and everyone else knows him as the Republican God. Centering him in a DEMOCRATIC response to a GOP president in 2025 is like if Dems rallied around Herbert Hoover at Woodstock.

This is why so much whinging over congressional Democrats’ theatrical choices strikes me as both maddening and kind of pathetic. This is on us. It’s not a show we’re watching, it’s a show we’re *on*.

I just imagine Trump is addressing Russia and a lot of his speech makes more sense.

Sure, he lied. But he was also bigoted. A masterwork.

“tHeY cAnT dO tHat!!!!!” ok well they are babe, idk what to tell you

Who could have predicted the Democrat sign-protest idea would end up like this

THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG: Plaintiffs in one lawsuit against DOGE have alerted the court to President Trump's remarks tonight calling Elon Musk the "head" of the office.

You Are Sane If you are terrified, you are SANE. If you are crying, you are SANE. If you are anxious, you are SANE. If you are traumatized, you are SANE. If you are grieving, you are SANE. If you are depressed, you are SANE. What’s happening is INSANE. But YOU ARE SANE. You are sane.

Democrats better be making alliances now. NATIONAL GUARD, POLICE, even peeling off Trump GENERALS. This is a fascist coup. If they ignore the law & just say agree to disagree, what then? Without MUSCLE on your side, they do whatever they want. The law becomes whatever they say. #MASSPROTEST #RISEUP

THIS!!! 👇

Democrats are either afraid to fight and be seen as uncouth or so naive to believe fighting only happens by following rules and laws. Laws don't matter in a failing republic. Only power does. Better learn quick.

America is a danger to itself and to others.

This speech is straight up nazi bullshit. The nonstop lies celebrating wins that did not happen. Blaming every problem both countrywide and individual on his political enemies. To question him is to be kicked out of the party. This is exactly what history has warned us to guard against.

Today, a broad coalition of scientific professional societies who represent over 92,000 scientists are speaking out against the politicization and demonization of Federally funded science and government scientist jobs. It was an honor to help the Union of Concerned Scientists with this! 🧪🌎

Key takeaway from DOGE: There’s less government fraud/waste than expected.

If you work at the Washington Post, now is the time to resign. You’re a part of this now.

It was never America First. It was always Trump First.

The cowardice of the GOP has been astounding 👇 #TraitorTrump

We set a goal of reaching 100% renewable energy by 2040. To get there we’re going to need a whole lot of job-creating renewable energy projects, and we’re not letting red tape get in the way. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/28/c...

…I know that guy (Thank you to @congressmin.bsky.social for speaking out for me as a constituent, but I also want to make clear that I am not the only one this has happened to. The right has used this tactic against MANY people over the past ten years, and it is an attempt to stifle speech)

It bears repeating.

BREAKING Project 2025 leader and current OMB head Russ Vought directs all agencies to create plans for large-scale layoffs ("Reductions in Force") by March 13.

And here’s an interview The Guardian did with me, should that be your particular cup of tea

Maybe the most illustrative sentence about what’s going on that I’ve read in weeks.

As a global leader in medical technology, Philips understands the value of doing business in Minnesota. I visited their headquarters in the Netherlands to learn how their recent expansion in Plymouth is supporting innovation and creating good-paying jobs.

Last night's Pentagon massacre is much more than realized. Not just firing the black CJCS and first woman CNO but all the senior JAG officers and hiring a man who just joined 3 different crypto firms tied to Kushner and Thiel as Chairman. I did a deep dive into it open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...
