Hello! I'm a therapist in training. I have a bachelor's in psychology, and I like to talk to people! I like to listen more, though. Sometimes I even ask questions 🤯

This isn't even in a "I wish i had this skillset" way. I'm just a goblin putting cream cheese on a toasted bagel and thinking. I know the gear I'm working with up here. That 100% would happen.

I think if there was any single argument that color perception is unique beyond social learning, this dress is it. I see strictly black and blue. I've looked at tons of different screens, angles, filters, but unless theres intense color edits, I can't see gold in it at all.

The grind is relentless and can only be stopped by an actual timer on my screen.

You are so correct, but you may have just performed a curse by announcing that to the internet. The big billionaires are probably working on it as we speak 😔

Same! If it's someone I trust to help, I'll usually clue them in to how much I have figured out so far, why I'm trying to do that thing right then, and/or what specific part is confusing me at the moment.

Oooh, noted. That is one of the main things that's kept me from trying vinyl personally, but knowing there's an option to slow that down is very comforting. Thank you for that!

I'm gonna ask a question that clearly dates me, but, I was told that vinyls physically degrade with each play through. Is that just super old ones or is it actually so minor that its insignificant with the variety you have and listen to?

Kyle Hill on YouTube has a fantastic series exploring this aspect of nuclear power. It's not my field, but it's definitely his. Highly recommend.

The horrifying thing is most of the answers for high risk potentially deadly nuclear power reactors is "It's much safer now because, well, unfortunately we found out the hard way."
