You should get out of DC and host town halls in Red districts and highlight how the DOGE cuts are impacting people in each district.

I would love to get your thoughts on what Strong said about HSV being able to withstand the cuts. I don't agree with his assessment and I think the area will suffer more than he wants to admit

Patel is a lock to be confirmed. And Trump will pardon him for committing perjury. Why are we even pretending at this point that any of Trump's nominees won't get confirmed?

I just try to avoid those conversations at all costs. I cut off a friend because he continued wanting to talk about his support for Trump and I didn't want to talk about it with him but he insisted

Their constituents are largely ok with this. They see this as a necessary sacrifice to their cult leader..

True. Except most red state governors have rolled over for Trump and won't dare challenge him

It's the team sports mentality. They will never abandon their team no matter how bad they are

That's the part that I can't get over. The same people who voted against Trump in 2020 because he was kinda wacky voted for a more extreme Trump in 2024. It was telegraphed way in advance. People shouldn't have short memories when it comes to a convicted felon

Strong disagree. These people have watched Trump come unhinged for 4 years and still bowed down and voted for him

Trump took the oath of office. That's the worst thing I've seen him do this week

I do agree there was a correction for all of the hiring that happened during covid. I work in security and I've never seen a security team's budget cut until recently though. It's not just layoffs but also having to get rid of or not acquire security tools

Wasn't there a recession already in the tech industry over the last year and a half or so? There were a significant number of layoffs

After the Crowdstrike debacle I would say absolutely not

That's what OSU should do in this situation. What a horrible experience for people who want to attend the game

Using codes is such a silly way to access pre-sale tickets. These codes leak almost every single time

So is Trump going to actually try to govern or is he just going to spend the next 4 years prosecuting his enemies?

Why did all of these Republicans flip seemingly overnight and dedicate their entire careers to Trump? It makes no sense
