DOGE IS headed by Musk, no? Did I miss something?
Oh, by the way, every Democrat, in front of a billion witnesses, would not show support for anything tonight. That's f'ing COLD. How does anyone support this anti-American Democratic movement? The mind boggles.

Agreed, tariffs can be hard on people. But JB Pritzer, this is a small part of the picture. As a Canadian, I understand why, but don't totally agree with, new tariffs. But clarify, how are straight up one for one tariffs not fair / justified / reasonable?

Yes, agreed, if the were only 20 from the new administration present. The new US gov't is very much focused on US first, and it'll take more than 40-some days to realize that goal. Hopefully, the Republican leadership will stem that collapse.

I was thoroughly sickened by the Democrat's lack of response to Trump's stories of human resilience. Some of the Democratic reps looked ashamed, as they should have, but clearly being coerced to not give any nod to human decency; as expected, I suppose.

Who is this pos slagging our future PM? Poilievre all the way! And soo happy Smith is in power in Alberta. Go Team!

Disagree, but let's turn it around. How's Trudeau's Liberal government, with Singh's backing, working out for you and your family?

Valuable perspective is a trait of good leadership. Successful military engagement requires a level of intelligence, but also usually physical strength, and why men were subjected to the draft. "Women were designed to lead. Men to ensure that leadership is secure". There is real truth to that.

All good Nigel, so did I. I love my country and province, but I'm seriously po'd at what Canada has become, and frankly I blame Trudeau's Liberals and Jasmeet Singh.

Sorry, Lor, physical and psychological differences, especially historically, are real. Men and women are built differently and think differently. Thankfully. So bringing more female sensibility into gov't is great. It'll balance decision making.

Missed this, sorry. No, not necessarily. But public call-outs are uncomfortable, especially because they happen because you look a little different; physiologically identical except hair and skin color, but that made all the difference. I'm not good with that on a fairly deep level; is that wrong?

We all have personality disorders. But I would submit that Trudeau's is much more harmful to the greater good than Poilievre's, or mine for that matter.

I will defer, if you strongly feel that it is not one's intention to make a guest in Nigeria uncomfortable with the calls. However, having been that guest for 6.5 yrs., it was uncomfortable. Just saying.

Disagree. First, why did NATO poke the bear, pushing to Russia's border, knowing Putin would react? And second, once Russia responded, why spend $Billions ensuring a generation of Ukrainian (and Russian) men are killed? This war is wrong and needs to end. And if you support it, you're a warmonger.

Jada, you clearly are not listening. And it's frankly disgusting. You are not worth my time, get an education, live some experiences, read, learn, get off of The View, and we can talk.

How many times have I ever shouted "Yoruba" or "Igbo" passing someone in Canada, or anywhere else? Actually, never.

It was, in context. Over 6.5 years, I can say, unequivocally, that 80% or more of the time I was called "Oyibo" (my spelling) it was in a negative context. So yes. Derogatory.

You misread, or misinterpreted. Totally relevant when talking about any loss of personal freedom. But I say a Republican gov't is not "blatantly disrespecting women". YOU are, by suggesting they, as over 50% of the voting body, elected what's right for them. This is not about you, so stop talking.

Hey, I just didn't get that from your post. I work in the Oil Industry, and half my family ranches. I'm proud of our contribution to Canada. And, actually, so should you, and all of us be. Otherwise, turn off your Christmas lights and have a bowl of crickets on Christmas day.

Nope. We're after you. Trudeau has lost the plot, and the support of the Liberal party and at least 80% of Canadians. He really has to go. Along with J Singh, possibly the worst political personality in our history...

Cowboys aren't "bullcrap". Government lobbyists and "Sunshine" Gov't employees are. Why are you so negative about the folks who provide food and drive our economy?

I've lived in the US, Canada (Sask, Ab), France, the UK, Egypt, Libya, Nigeria. And I disagree. Anyway, can you clarify how calling Calgarians "MAGA Maples" makes you a good person? I was called "Oyibo" by the uneducated in Nigeria, seems you are doing the same?

Laughable. One hung over visit to a library and Kamsla Harris is a book God? If you believe this propaganda you probably deserve what she would have brought: hate, divisiveness, poverty, war, crime, ...

Religion built our countries (Canada and the US), but agreed, respect the past, and our people's beliefs, but politics is politics. The problem with simply stating "religion does not belong in our schools" doesn't address how to instill respect in our children. Have a think on that and get back.

How is this relevant? How are your rights to control your body being taken away by the Federal Gov't? Can you frame your answer by contrasting anything you say against millions of men being drafted to active war over the last 80 years?

You're against Jan 6, thinking it was an insurrection, but you are flippantly posting about someone's death? You're deranged and a menace to society. And all the people who liked your comment should be ashamed of themselves. God help us if you're serious...

Part 2: Is there a female equivalent to vasectomies, ie, a reversible form of female birth control, that would not impede lifestyle but would effectively reduce unwanted pregnancies? And could be reversed (vasectomies are 30 - 90% reversible, btw)? Free IUD's? Help me out here.
comment in response to

Part1: So, back to my original comment. Vasectomies (the original post suggested they be mandatory) are NOT equivalent to abortions. If you think abortions are an acceptable form of birth control, you need counseling. Rape, incest, etc. aside, both genders must assume equal responsibility.

Libraries have moved online. They are as relevant as they were 50yrs ago. The difference is that librarians don't "shush" patrons, but are instead IT professionals.

I wonder about this. I have no problem with abortion if necessary. I chose a vasectomy, would you choose sterilization? Would that be you bring responsible? Perhaps. Abortions and vasectomies are not male/female equivalents, are they? If you want to make a point, at least smart about it...
