That sounds like complete nonsense that you've made-up but also exactly what he'd say. Crazy.

I think again, if people were only paid a wage or pension sufficient to buy essentials and no more, I'd agree. Does tech always get cheaper, or does some tech improve and keep prices steady or increasing?

A terrible, but necessary decision.

If people only bought essentials, yes. But they don't.

The UKs nuclear deterent is submarine based. I believe the idea is that its location is not supposed to be known.

Older than that even, he was 95.

Surely, the amount of aid does need to increase, especially if US aid is stopped. If 80% don't think aid should increase, that isn't good.

Europe fucked up! We should have known this might happen.

Surely, that's too slow and will need to rise much further than that?

Should the EU not just be facilitating trade with Ukraine, which includes trading minerals? Or perhaps Europe, including Ukraine, needs to exclude the US and compete more directly with their tech and military industry to reduce dependence on the US.

It's very wrong to compare China's One Child policy to the UKs two child benefit limit. They are completely different, and China enforced its policy with forced contraception and forced abortions.

I'm not sure you should include the £8 for lunch as you could take your own lunch. That's why 'they' want you back, though. They want that travel and lunch spend. Your life and free time aren't important.

Perhaps Nprway should have a referendum to decide whether to give some and how much to Ukraine.

If it's in a Sovereign Wealth fund, it can be used for the benefit of Norwegians. There might come a day when it's needed. A billionaire can only use the money for as long as they are alive. A nation might be around for hundreds or thousands of years into the future.

"The government has also pledged the UK will not rejoin the customs union - an agreement between EU countries not to charge taxes called tariffs on things coming from outside the bloc." I'm not sure that is quite right. Doesn't it set common tariffs from outside the union rather than 'no tariffs'?

What's got you so upset?

You're not looking for a discussion about the economics of the hospitality industry, I'm guessing.

He's been president for 11 days. Unless he dies in office, there is still almost 4 years of this sort of nonsense to get through.

The pub or brewer (I'm not sure who pays the duty to the exchequer)will pay 1p less duty for the pint. Whether they pass that on to their customer is up to them.
comment in response to post
It will definitely happen. The cut in duty will reduce the price of a pint by 1p.

Arguing that it's a baseless claim leaves open the suggestion that someone who is transgender would necessarily be a less able pilot. Better to ask Steve why being transgender would affect the ability to fly an aircraft.

Rather than post selective still images, post video. The video of Musk shows exactly what he was doing.

I know a number of people in Clacton who voted for Farage. They had no expectation of Fargage ever being involved in Clacton. They wanted Reform in the House of Commons to pressure the government to 'Stop the Boats'.

You're right. To others, data is boring. And just as importantly, common sense would just tell you that things will be better.

Not sure many people know he'd like an insuranced based system. As for other policies. Why have a housing policy if housing is just filled with 'boat people'? Why talk about jobs if they're just for boat people? Roads? Unlicensed boat people driving around. Crime? It's the boat people doing that.
comment in response to post
I feel the same. I've got friends and family that feel the same BUT, I know a lot more people (friends and family included) that 'know' they've been failed by every other party so why not try Farage?
comment in response to post
The main parties haven't delivered, so why not give Reform a chance? This is what Reform voters have said to me.
comment in response to post
This is what I've had explained. If you 'Stop the Boats', illegal immigrants won't skip the housing queue, and people waiting for years will get housed. You'll be able to finally get a doctors appointment. You'll get the surgery you've waited for. You'll be able to get a job. Wages will rise etc.
comment in response to post
I know people who voted for Farage. They know he was never going to serve the constituency and don't care what he does, but they believe the main parties have failed, and he's said he'll 'Stop the Boats' and make their lives better. That's what they want.
comment in response to post
Reform don't need you or the millions who won't vote for them. They just need enough disaffected voters in the right places to win a lot more seats. If they get a lot of funding and people's lives don't get a lot better soon, they may win a lot of seats.

'Emma Kamio, 57, who runs her own homeopathy...business'. I'm going to have trouble believing her account if she's a purveyor of magic potions.
