Yeah there's just no way an algorithm could invest money in such a way that only 2 of every 10 investments is profitable, while the other 8 companies fail. Just no way.

The birthrates panic is a thin veil for "immigrants from the wrong countries" panic.

Note: White Privilege is "maybe the white supremacist didn't do the shooting because of white supremacy"

In both cases, the EPA was run by insufferable idiots.

It's "realistic" if you've predetermined the bullshit findings and you're just going to spend 5 months making up bullshit to justify it.

Feeny! He lives!

Yeah. He's the distillation of all of the unforgivable behavior that we permit to the privileged in this country. We absolutely deserve him.

How do we keep losing to literally the dumbest people?

Rusty taught me at the Ford School--and was kind enough to write me letters of rec for law school. We rarely agreed on policy, but this speaks to the man's character. I miss principled conservatives like this.

Oftentimes prosecutors seek the death penalty to drive the defendant toward a plea deal and avoid trial. May still happen here.

I am not a proponent of "eat the rich" but I must admit, some of these idiots are begging to be eaten.

Given how my waistline has changed over the last few years I think this is a fair question.

Let's generously give every lawyer at Paul Weiss 80 hours a year of pro bono, which is higher than what they report. That still turns into something like 100-125 lawyers who, over the next four years, must commit *all* of their pro bono time to Trumpism. A tenth of the firm. Time to lateral!

To be clear, they want to do warrantless searches if they are able to show that. . . they found a picture of a foreigner holding up hand signs?

Oh I think they're both showing their authentic character, too. I much prefer Pritzker's.

Being a billionaire helps with fearless authenticity. Not to take anything away, he's absolutely meeting the moment.
