Learn about T-Cell exhaustion in Long COVID with Professor David Putrino. longcovidtheanswers.com #longcovid #longhauler @putrino_lab @polybiorf.bsky.social www.youtube.com/shorts/MQ31V...

Long COVID manifests with T cell dysregulation, inflammation and an uncoordinated adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2 | Nature Immunology Tja da müssen mir die Psychosomatik Fanatiker mal erläutern wie das geht und warum das Mild ist www.nature.com/articles/s41...

The JN.1 variant of SARS-CoV-2 resulted in a major Covid wave a year ago. A new report uncovers T cell immune evasion as a mechanistic basis. We've been preoccupied on neutralizing antibodies, not enough on cell-based immunity to the virus. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

All informed people know that SARS-CoV-2 can harm your immune system, even in mild cases of COVID-19. Research has shown that the virus can cause long-term changes and damage to various components of your immune system.

People with diabetes have weaker, shorter-lived T cell responses to COVID-19 vaccines. Their immune memory fades faster, and booster shots trigger a tolerogenic, anti-inflammatory response instead of strong protection. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

New Lancet study shows extremely low, 2%, recovery rate from Long COVID. However, those who considered their Long COVID resolved were still in worse health than those who never had Long COVID. www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...

Long COVID alone has cost more than those savings, affects an estimated 40-50 million Americans at the time of this article, and minimum thousands more people each week. That's one disease. One single disease. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39842946/ @resist.bot is a very easy way to contact your reps 😷

It turns out that ignoring a pandemic doesn't make it go away. Long Covid incidence is actually rising over time with the later Omicron variants.

It is so cringe-worthy, trying to pretend to be correct and relevant while spreading so much disinformation! Now pretending again that SARS-CoV-2 damages "the immune system" by extrapolating specific LongCovid cohorts. It is so bad to see people falling for this. Why is this wrong again?

A little good news for long covid sufferers.

everyone talks about how the CDC changes the colors on the COVID wastewater map but the fact that they re-baseline every 6 months is far, far more egregious

CDC is changing the baseline for wastewater levels, so here's where you can get the raw data: data.wastewaterscan.org This is the CDC's source, so very reliable and you can also customize the time-period using this tool.😄

CDC is adjusting their wastewater baseline calculation to not show that covid is infecting more people in the period between waves. By using 12 months of data instead of 18 like for flu/RSV, it disguises increases in the average over time.🤨 Up side is a JN.1 type variant will stand out more.😅
