saving our farmers when we have bad crop yields, the road and train infrastructure that makes Indiana the crossroads of America, and a myriad of other ways. Our politicians worked hard on our behalf to bring this to us while representing us in Congress.

As a state, we rely on the Federal Government and the taxes paid into it in a lot of different ways, from the well paying jobs the Federal Prison provides in Terre Haute, to the business Atterbury creates, the grant money that pours into our University which leads to innovations for our farmers,

This is not to say there aren't solutions, and potentially a good niche market for an entrepreneur providing safe solutions that make this sort of thing work.

if it is not included in the rent? Would it be padded into the rent, somehow billed against the utility bill and run off your meter, or a "by the minute, or by the watt" billing like communal washer/dryers.

I would love to be able to do it if it was an option with where I live. I could see this being a added benefit or selling point for luxury "lifestyle" complexes, but for the complexes most people live in, or would benefit from cheap ass charging would come down to who is paying for it
