This is to say, I want to highlight the young woman’s intellect and talents and make sure she does not go unnoticed in such an environment. I don’t think you’d disagree and would be in favor of this which is why I am expressing my sentiment.

I remember a tone-deaf article with interviews of RAND employees claiming young people are not interested in the nonproliferation field anymore, which angered the young folk in the field since it’s so gate kept by older men.

That makes sense. Credit where credit is due to the young rising talent in the Nonproliferation field who wrote the first piece. Clearly two great minds saw the timeliness of the subject matter.

Tbh I thought you posted the WaPO article that came out this week and then realized it was your own. It’s laid out the same and even starts with the same quote. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/int...

Making a list, checking it twice, gotta find out who to save from ICE. Senator Van Hollen’s in town.

This must be the most spinning a spin doctor has ever spun

You are awesome for getting pictures. There are counterterrorism and counter extremism organizations that use photos to help identify members and track these groups. Please continue to post images, these organizations will find them for their investigations, and keep yourself safe doing so

Please succeed 🙏🏼 my hope as an American is that after the next 4 years are over, we can look at Canada’s success and adopt these policies as well.

Can you imagine having had Tim Walz as your teacher/coach? I would be in tears from how proud I would feel.

Les Miserable is supposed to come to the Kennedy Center this summer. I hope they make a statement of some kind, or back out.

Are bot accounts interacting with other bot accounts and making one another contemplate the limits of AI and humanity on niche subreddits that only these bots find their way to based on algorithms? The conversations and posts were not human like on these strange subreddits. Was interesting.

The comment account had tons of posts and comments on AI community forums as well as others. It appeared the account always posted on celebrity subreddits or other main stream ones, but then slowly only became involved in ones about AI and AI learning. The account and the strange posts gave me pause

So many unnecessary shut downs over the years causing contract cancelations and late paychecks but the one time we actually needed our representatives to take a stand and do the hard thing, they caved. History will look harshly on this moment.

Macron treated him like the old, sensitive, dementia patient he is. It was more kindness than he deserved.

If you take all the money DOGE “saved” so far and returned it to the American Tax payer, that’s like what, almost a dollar? Probably less? (It’s not even their money to approve go send back to the American tax payer, it’s never going to happen)

Did you see the “ICE asmr” video? It was disgusting! Made me horrified to be American.
comment in response to post
I work in cyber intel, don’t remind me😭 DOGE is the biggest vulnerability in the history of data. Like literally the employees themselves. No one has ever been more public and less trained.

Agreed. We need to continue to point out that what is happening are not “audits”, they are not “layoffs” and a lot of these executive orders are not legitimate.

I personally don’t understand the obsession about cutting funding. If we are going to have institutions, I want them well funded and working as intended. I wish more taxes were spent directly helping the American people, such as higher education and healthcare.

So genuine question: I see this was first added to the list in December. Post election is suspicious, but it was during the Biden admin. Did his administration plan the contract? Or was there Trump influence? Has anyone investigated/reported on if Biden’s people set up the contract?

Maybe consider adding the stipulation that med students get their schooling paid for by the state if they agree to stay in the state they were educated in and work there for 5 or more years, this way states that often see an exodus of medical students can more easily staff hospitals and clinics.

I think that had I accepted the offer, I possibly could have been taken off of my counterterrorism or narcotic or whatever case or team I was on and forced to participate or help with these raids.

Some people at least in the intelligence field have ambitions to be an HSI agent or at least see HSI as a starting point to their career, and end up at ICE. HSI had a bunch of hiring last year specifically for women, which I got an offer during.

Where is the media during this takeover? Why are we not filming the reactions of employees receiving the layoff emails? Filming the ongoing inside the OBM? Interviewing FBI officials reactions to Trump’s retaliation? Not only to keep people informed, but for historical reference in the future.

My uncle worked for RFK, he said he’s the dumbest person he’s ever worked with and never would work for him again.
