For books, I recommend a great local independent non-profit bookstore (they plow their revenue into books for school libraries and other community literacy and reading outreach). You can order books online through them & you’re supporting a nonprofit at the same time. bookmarksnc.org

Yes, I agree. But, Trump and Musk have made it more “acceptable” to be racist, misogynistic, have hatred for LGBTQ+, religious minorities, etc. in ways we haven’t seen so openly in decades.
