Literally the only reason I ever go there is to get my flu shots and Covid vaccines but since those are probably gone anyway …

You should write a book about Crossgen someday. I find the whole thing fascinating.

Definitely. Byrne gets a lot of flak, some of it deserved, but in the case of the Legion, I think it’s definitely undeserved. DC just fumbled the ball.

Just want to add that all of Byrne’s changes were approved by editorial and when he asked about the Legion he was told that it was covered. Then one day editorial called him in a panic saying that the reboot would mess up the Legion

Wow. Such bravery. Where others would do nothing, he does the least amount possible.

It was only a matter of time before the Mongol Horde reached Canada.

Is there a Native American name for it? It should be forced to go by its birth name

Same here. Nothing to do now but wait for the sheer volume of order to convince Marvel to announce a Starshine two pack (Both ponytail and Mohawk version)

Aww. I hope their little tummies are feeling better now. Poor widdle guys, forced to make a tough choice. Truly, the greatest victims of all time.

I’ve still got that Violent Marv in the electric chair! I wish I had also picked up Tom Strong back then

We live in troubled times. I have to believe that positivity and support from even a little guy like me can help with that.

While I feel for the authors, I have to say, I probably wouldn’t have picked up either book before knowing about this. Now, both will be added to my potential purchase list. I hope they both get some extra sales and reviews.

That was the correct and only answer.

I used to post on Twitter and just vented into the void. I don’t expect much different here. But, if you’ve read this far, I hope you’ll take a moment to think about how your actions and beliefs affect the people around you and the ones you love. We can all be better. /8

Tonight I’m having some drinks, looking at my friend’s picture on the wall and Paradise Lost came to mind. “Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven.” /7

Two friends of the church and family filmed a crappy video that poked fun at my friend and focused on her family’s involvement with the church. My friend’s stepmother mocked me for wearing a mask during the service. She was CEO healthcare official and had received a vaccine shot weeks before /6

A good friend of hers worked as a camera man and other things in Hollywood. He filmed an amazingly beautiful high quality video of her friends speaking about how she had touched their lives. The family refused to show it at her funeral. I got to see it in my kitchen the night before her funeral. /5

Too my knowledge, her father never said anything. I sat in that very church for her funeral. Not one person outside of her massive friend group spoke to me that day. The only people that spoke for her at the funeral were family and members of the church. /4

The overwhelming message she received was that cervical cancer was her punishment from god. Only sluts and whores got that kind of cancer. I don’t know how big that church was but 18 seems a significant number. /3

Later that day, and the next, she began receiving messages on Facebook. People in the congregation searched her out through her father’s accounts and found her. Over the next couple of days, she received around 18 messages in total. Love and support you would imagine? /2
