I love how it's paired with photos of a very 1996 kitchen.

I can't wait for there to be three Mavericks in an elementary school class. 😂

I like the way you think! Wearing flamboyant botanical millinery is always a good idea, but the song is an excellent addition!

I've started making little bouquets for my desk inspired by your gorgeous photos! Definitely a dopamine hit every time I glance over and see it!

There was a huge, gorgeous tree in front of the chapel that looked like it had the face of a dryad and I used to say hello to it every time I walked past. It was cut down with no warning (to the students) around 96/97 and I've always wished I had a picture of the old man in the tree.

I've been blogging since 2011, and while my website is Drupal based, not WP (because my husband is a fancy programmer and wanted more control), but I've worked with WP many times as well. Worst case, I can refer you to someone who specializes in building WP sites.

How fancy are we talking? Basic WordPress or serious programming?

Yahoo personals (before there were photos). In 1999. We were early adopters of technology.

Is that a hole in the ceiling of the library to make room for more books? It doesn't quite look like a mirror, but I just... Don't understand what I'm seeing.

Excellent name! Mine are named Pudding and Mega Pud.

How I just assumed '23 meant 1923 and thought, "oh wow, how cool!" And then realized what year it is. I remember going to the library and checking out a book last checked out in '87--1887! (Class of 1998, not quite ancient yet)

Morgana le Fur and Sir Lancelot du Lick congratulate your cat on a truly superb name.

Ah, we ringers are pretty isolated from everyone down below, but if I see him, I'll say hello from you!

I got bitter wrapping to put around our table legs. Little stinker LOVES it! Grabbed the roll and ran away to chew on it!

I'm in Arizona visiting my parents but when I go up to ring when I get back in a week I'll take a picture!

We have a cat print on a pilfered Roman bricks used to build the Norman tower at the St Albans cathedral. It's in the bell chamber (with the actual bells, above the ringing chamber). It makes the history feel so personal.

That is an amazing blend!

Also, thanks for triggering that commercial earworm from the 80s 🤣

I suspect that's the reason behind Coffin and Trout Fine Jewelers (in Arizona).

Did any of them follow a catawampus trajectory? Because that would delight me.

I submit for your mental well-being, a picture of Sir Lancelot du Lick from tonight. Belly up, secure and happy. We persist in other ways.

My friend from Cork introduced me to this brilliant holiday. Thanks for the reminder! I definitely need to start celebrating it again with my friends.

My mom baked gingerbread houses for every kid in my class, my brother's class, our scout troops, and dozens for friends and family. I carried on the tradition and hosted a gingerbread decorating party for about 80 people on sunday. I love spreading that gingerbread joy! Cherished memories.
