The cherry on top of a wonderful Jaws theatre experience: seeing @hywelroberts.bsky.social in the bar after!

Great little booklet, but the fingers on this AI-generated cover picture are freaking me out.

Whole class ukulele, clarinet and steel drums as part of our curriculum offer, with further practice for recorders, keyboards and others in music club. #PrimaryRocks

Also music, giving real confidence to talented children to learn, play and perform in public. #PrimaryRocks

Football, but not in the obvious way. In the last few years we’ve got loads more girls interested, so the expansion of our football training has allowed many more children (inc. some who were possibly intimidated before) to participate and enjoy. #PrimaryRocks

I know! Missed you too. Been off Twitter for ages, so it’s good to catch up in Bluesky. Feels like the old days!

It’s an hour at the most, once a week. Some impact, naturally, but the benefits have been well worth it.

Yes, all available staff run a club (some double-up, football is 90+ children so 4 staff run that). Children all put their top 3 and were allocated that way. Only cooking is limited numbers, which change every half-term.

We’ve moved to a model where all clubs take place in one afternoon during school hours, thus allowing every child in school a chance to attend. No late pick-ups, more staff time after hours, every child involved. #PrimaryRocks

Since I got onto Letterboxd, my film-watching has increased dramatically (and time on other social media has decreasing). I find it leads me to watch films that I’d never considered or knew about. The stats are great too!
