Human rights for trans people is not an āœŒšŸ¾issueāœŒšŸ¾ to be won or lost. It's an imperative. Would be nice if the feckless fuckers who keep insisting we vote for them *or else* would realize that

Thereā€™s literally no source for this piece. The daily beast picked it up from the daily mail. And the daily mail was quoting one of its own hacks. And the hack was as usual projecting his own thoughts onto a faceless Netflix exec. There is no Netflix Exec. This is how the media works now.

The original point was that the crap was being spread globally ie beyond US and UK.

The maj are gossip sites but back to my point re global msm spread of the smears, why wld the NZ Herald or Manila Times be covering the tabloid bs? I agree we canā€™t and shldnt bother with the low info folks. Doesnā€™t mean that we shld overlook the impact of the MSM involvement on apparently smart ppl

Look at my block list - Iā€™ve had to block credible news sites for spreading bs. And to be clear, I think most people can see through it. But I always think abt Wallis Simpson and what we think we know abt her and where that ā€˜knowledgeā€™ came from. What will remain of this smear campaign?

True. But Iā€™m referring to news agencies in random countries, scraping the tabloid nonsense and posting it on their own sites. Thereā€™s possibly a longer discussion to be had about the 24hr news cycle and what pressures itā€™s placed on news agencies to ā€˜produce contentā€™ every time you refresh the page

Nah. That bullshit has spread across the global media ecosystem including so called respectable outlets. They use the tabloid talking points as fillers to keep from reporting on more serious issues. They all subscribe to the same news aggregators so the BM bs is amplified word for word globally.

Problem with all that inbreeding is that it doesnā€™t produce the smartest minds. And with the media on their side, they think they can keep this up for as long as they wish.

Itā€™s always been a targeted attack, paid for and directed by both palaces. The objective is to destroy and disrupt any attempt at making a success of their independent life. It happens with every project, business venture, relationship etc.

For those who want an objective review without the standard UK media nastiness, the series is very well made and a surprisingly good watch. Hooks you right from the beginning. Great cast of characters, nail-biting scenes, very inspiring stories. Def worth watching.

The Guardian have always been nasty about Harry and Meghan. You only need to search their articles to read the barely disguised hostility and snark. No better than the tabloids. Sadly I think this is a UK media issue not just the yellow press.

2 years ago that dried up ā€˜Lady Cā€™ had the trolls convinced that H & M were divorced and H was hiding in the UK. Only for them to turn up in NY a few days later looking happy and loved up. That cow had full-grown women literally crying on Reddit, talking about ā€˜I donā€™t know what to believe anymoreā€™

I hope you feel better soon.

Meghan has had every bit of her self picked at by the media and trolls every single day for the last 8 years. Sheā€™s earned the right to wear and do whatever she wants with herself.
