The US Postal Service doesn't lose money, it spends money to provide an essential service. It is not a business it's a government service, specifically authorized in the US Constitution. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 7 charges Congress with establishing a postal system.

My family have about 500 acres after living in the state since 1850. Most family’s that held through the depression lost them in the 80s. No such thing as family farms anymore, they’re all giant corporations buying $500k combines lol
