I also think one thing academia can do collectively is highlight that Trump's "entitlement" argument is clearly a red herring because his administration is targeting all of academia. 180 colleges & universities have now been targeted by them.

The message is important, not how well it’s executed. Hold your sign high!

I can’t tell you how many people I talk to give me links to her blather as “proof” of how the administration is helping people. I…just…wow…

Representative Huffman-
I’m a Union member…I heard nothing about this march until now. Perhaps you can use your influence as our elected representative to convince the Press Democrat and other local MSM to alert the people in our county of these important issues? Enuf with the food reviews!!!

What violence? What terrorist acts? You must be watching a news station I don’t get. Seriously. All I see are people peacefully exercising their first amendment rights. If you think that’s illegal…you are wrong.

And then we would see if the military will follow his orders or the Constitution. That is the big question.

I know it’s a rhetorical question, but I have to reply…They don’t bring them to congress because Republicans would have to defend the cuts in the cold hard light of day. Their constituents would see (certainly on CSPAN, maybe not FOX) that their reps are not acting in their best interests.

Timing might not be a coincidence? They alway do something to take our attention away from something else- perhaps from the possible Senate vote on the CR tomorrow?

This is not the fault of the Postal Service. Politicians has made it difficult on many levels for it to operate efficiently. It’s easy to find out this info on the web if you are interested in reading more about it.

Representative Huffman- thank you for attending. That building belongs to all of us Americans. We have a right to have our reps in that room tonight. Please please please do not remain silent. Call out his lies, each and every one of them!

Do not leave!!! Maybe give every Dem a small sign that says “LIE” in large readable letters. Every time he lies (constant, I know) display the sign and dispassionately but loudly say “you lie”.

I like this idea, so I can keep flying my American flag also. Bonus? I worked on the Star Wars movies, so this reminds me of good times! This one is pricey, but American made. They have other sizes.
