It’s feels like they would rather keep the status quo in place, out of fear of losing. As you can see Republicans do not share that fear, and are willing to blow up the government to get what they want.

I’m not as hopeful that we will get any progress without some extreme suffering. Americans seem to hate helping each other. The last time we got any socialist programs through, was after the Great Depression and the end of Jim Crow. Having said that, my husband and I wont stop fighting.

I worked a union job for 23 years, and trust me when I say the group as a whole got more radicalized as time when on. Even though they benefitted from a union, they hated UNIONS! I think the Right just does a better job at manipulating people. The DNC does not know how to do that.
