Unfracture Yourself is a bold rebellion against the system of shame. We expose forces that profit from body insecurity—and reclaim radical self-ownership. Your body is not obscene, it is not a threat. Shame is the lie. unfractureyourself.com

I don't watch much mainstream media anymore and don't know this show. I'd hope in real life that it wouldn't get as far as the altar before a discussion like this is had. But it's a vital discussion and this is wonderful. Good for a show; hopefully, it plays out differently in real life.

Angela, thank you so much for sharing this painful story. I, too, was sexually abused as a child, but not to the extent and duration that you speak of. Like you, I also found healing in the body acceptance of non-sexual social nudity. I think social nudity could do much to heal our society.

I just found you and was listening to this episode and I have to say that a report I heard from about teen boys traumatizing girls in their school with AI-created nude photos is what really prompted me to re-engage. The first thing I thought was, what if nudity was just normal? No trauma or drama.

Maybe I should add that we aren't saying that you aren't a naturist, just that sex isn't a naturist sport, volleyball is!

I am glad that I found your profile, you are 100% right of course, and of course it shouldn't be this way, what women have to suffer in so many ways due to patriarchy should not be accepted. But it is still hanging on persistently and with resurgence at this time, sadly.

I like this idea, not sure how much effect it will have but I do like it. I like it enough that I came up with my own version!

You're probably right! At least I have never had one on my lawn. Mostly a Florida Kistch Christmas tree with mostly flamingo and Orange ornaments.

I really love photos like this, and I would love to be naked in a place like that, but such a place simply doesn't exist in Florida!

Same for swimwear. I will not swim in a pool, beach, lake, etc. if I have to wear something, I hate it! Absolutely HATE it!

I was raised in a shame-based family and abused by neighbors, it was discovering really old nudist magazines that changed my life for the better. Been nude AMAP ever since. Life has gotten in the way of social nudity for years, I hope to change that soon. I am just launching unfractureyourself.com

I agree, but don't know how to shut it down. Now, I have nothing against sex, but it is something we do; it's an action that requires consent. Our body, our whole body, is a thing; it's what we are; it's not what we do. I do personally block people posting porn, but how to stop it is another issue.

Damn, I like flamingos, I did not know about that connotation. Guess it's a good thing that I am getting a bit tired of them. For me it's just been a Florida kistch thing.

I think one thing that makes the online world really different than the real world in naturism is in the real world, when you drop your clothes you also basically drop pretense, and you just are. The online world especially thrives on pretense!

The photo is beautiful. The pose is not the same but it still reminds me of the mermaid statue in Copenhagen. And while I am brand new here on Bluesky and see things that aren't allowed on other social media. I think trusted accounts would be a good idea here and in other places.

I have thought about contacting a local arts college about posing, but I am concerned about holding poses for a long time, especially standing poses. How difficult is it for you to maintain a pose?

I am so much happier naked, but I have to admit that I don't care for laying around in the sun. Give me the shade of a big tree!

The truth that society has done such a thorough job conflating the two is exactly why there needs to be a separation of the two. But there should be less naive-sounding ways to communicate that.

I am new here and building a list of people with good body acceptance content. I did not intend to include any that are primarily photos. But so many of these are so good. I especially like this one with that clear enjoyment and her being part of the larger scene, not most of the scene. Very nice.
