Probably some stupid fuckin app you have to install that barely works but definitely harvests all your data.

Is there any shot of it being recorded and put on the channel? Sounds super interesting but am not attending.

I may be overestimating the extent to which James is aware of online reactions to his own content but I wonder how much of his continued partnership with Screenwave is backlash to the incredibly awful way the truth subreddit talks about them. I’d bet not the biggest part of it but not negligible.

I heard about these chemists, Fleischmann and Pons were the name I think. Doing big things with fusion, Altman should definitely get in touch with them.

I never used Reels but the introduction of Shorts as a longtime YT user felt annoying more than anything. I don’t _think_ I was the only one thinking that way. My kid loves shorts but I think the older YT audience has been fairly hostile to them, which can’t help.

The one drilling a hole into a cylinder? Most likely a trans woman, the following one where the hole is taped up and the square is rounded is presumably a trans man.

Found it. Corrections: Cruise not Waymo Was at 10mph so ymmv on “slammed” www.forbes.com/sites/bradte...

Wasn’t there an incident with Waymo where it slammed into the back of an articulated bus cause its sensors saw the bus, accounted for the front 40ft but didn’t know to account for an 80ft articulated? Or is my memory playing tricks on me.

Each one is a separate contract awarded to a government contractor that is really only interested in getting as much money out of the contract as possible. Recreation.gov is Booze Allen Hamilton if I remember correctly. Trash company.

recreation.gov is pretty shit too.

The Call of Duty one removes information too. The fact that there’s 46 scenes of torture in the series is a pretty relevant piece of info.

The bingo brawlers series they do normally is also really entertaining

You know it’s bad when Bethesda produces more accurate looking guns.

Yeah there were a lot of trailers for movies that I’d describe as having “weird” vibes in front of my showing. Pretty interested in Oz Perkins’ Monkey film coming out. Only thing I wasn’t real interested in was Wolf Man cause a Blumhouse January release is unlikely to be quality.

Him snapping those pencils in class is so bitchy and I love it

I don’t even know who he is I just always see clips of him interviewing some asshole (usually the actual subject of whatever video essay I’m watching)

Most of what I’ve seen is other YouTubers (mostly reaction types) trying to piggyback off MegaLag’s work Ala the plagiarism video of…last year? That can’t be right.

I used to wonder as a kid why TBS only ever aired Braves games.

“What’s the title of the sequel to the movie Alien in lowercase” is.

Honestly surprised there isn’t more clumsily disguised antisemitism if it’s his typical audience.

People who think that always trust YouTube over “traditional” games journalists too, as if the “This video is sponsored by RAID shadow legends” crowd wouldn’t take cash for positive reviews too.

Ours threatened to charge reporters with “hacking” for going right-click -> view source on a government website.
