I turned six that summer and I never knew about the striped stirrups until today. Looking back, I never remembered any Astro showing the full stirrup. Perhaps they changed them in later years. Willing to guess the players revolted on the design. The jerseys are one thing, the sox were another.

I'm a Yankees fan and I do not care for the Dodgers. But at least they are trying. The teams to "hate" are the ones who are not even bothering to even attempt to win.

He was, and may still be, and advisor with Topps. He did take pictures for their cards as well many, many years ago. He has spoken about this previously. So your information is correct.

My Little League team was sponsored by a package store. Before that my minor league team was sponsored by an undertaker. We had black shirts. Not making this up.

Yeah, I noticed the poor grammar on that.

Agree. For a "high-average" hitter everything is very weak. Closest comparable, I guess, would be Carew. But Carew could run hence his good SB and run numbers. Arraez is just a singles hitter.

In all honesty it was pretty smooth. She was tired at the end of each week's treatment but not incapacitated. He hair thinned but she did not go bald. And had a 4-hour op to clear the area with no transfusions. Now Connolly's situation is worse. I did not know that when I posted. So it is different.

The age is one thing. The cancer is another. My mother had stage 2 esophageal cancer 10 years ago when she was 70. They got it out with little trouble. She is now 80 with no complications. So without knowing how bad this guy has it I am going to let that go.

It is hard to tell because Dems in general are so soft, and Bush has been rehabed. Plus I generally don't care for the MSNBC crowd anyway. No matter. What's done is done.

Little George was, and still is, a brain-damaged drug addict. If his name was not Bush he would walking the streets with a tin cup. He did nothing good for anyone other than himself and his rich friends. Thank you Chris for affirming my reasons for not watching your show.

You are correct sir. Harris could not sell beer at Oktoberfest. They continuously put up one weakling after another and it is everyone else's fault if we don't fall in line.

What a bunch of crap. Harris is as much of an anti-Palestinian racist as Biden and Trump. Nobody should by the "Harris will stop this" bull because she can do something now. Instead she gives whimpers away about Israel having the right to defend itself and sassing anti-genocide protestors.
