On this question, "The weekly users number is really weird. Did it really go from 200 million to 300 million users in the space of three months? " Does their data also include copilot? Microsoft moved most of their office customers to a sunscription including copilot without authorisation recently

I love how it implies the life vest can be used as a boat for small children

Tech has stopped being about helping YOU do things - it's now a means for management consultants to use software to penetrate/monetize every aspect of our lives, all while expressing growth to the markets. This is the growth-at-all-costs Rot Economy. www.wheresyoured.at/what-were-fighting-for/

I use it for the family features. Being able to have a shared vault with the family and keeping my other stuff separate is really useful.

I feel your pain. I've had a similar experience, multiple times this month it's hard out there. People are using AI to write their CVs and the recruiters are using AI to scan them. Unsurprisingly the genuine applications get filtered out because AI is looking for AI answers, not real ones.

Its fun walk this, with a few great pubs on the route and a great view at the summit. I carried my son up on the backpack without too much effort, so its doable for families too 😁

I have, nearly 20,000 words done in an early draft and 15 diagrams. Is that even "early" anymore? So hard to tell!

It creates a critical juncture in the writing process. You can engage early and get help, but the ideas might not be yours when its done. More of a "group effort". Or you can hold off and gamble, hoping what you have convinces a publisher to get involved once things are taking shape.

It is interesting though. Some want to be involved at the start and can be hands on. Others want to see a fair chunk of words before they will commit.
