That money will fuel a 6T tax cut for the ultra wealthy, the Marie Antoinette moment for the US, the largest transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top in World history.

He will take bribes via Truth Social stock or Trump Coin or, what does he care, suitcase full of gold to give individual corporation tariff exceptions.

Exactly, you forgot the skim off the top for himself tho

I think it's to raise government revenues for the inevitable budget reconciliation so they can give $T to the oligarchs. They simply cannot cut enough "waste" so they resort to a tax.

Thank Jebus bribery didn't work.

If we do our part, he's gonna look "great" the morning after voting.

Electronic counting is fine. Having an audit trail is important but the biggest benefit we have is a non-political independent agency running elections, Elections Canada.

Thanks, I will get a copy.

Stating the obvious, but not all Canadians participate and therefore benefit the same in the economy. However, I tend to be verbose but felt it important to add.

I don't think that was to appease Trump. That was his own shitty decision.

He looks so beaten down, I love that for him.

Even if you do, he will just keep asking for more and keep applying tariffs. We don't negotiate with terrorists.

Trump better get out his sharpie! Oh wait, he hates Chicago.

There is something very poetic and metaphorical about this.

I'd like to know the name of the pizzeria so I can never visit it.

The US has locked people up in foreign prisons without a trial. I believe anything is possible at this point.

Radical compliance.

They only care if it impacts them directly. John McCain is a good example. Not an evil person. He voted no on repealing Obama care (Affordable Care Act) because he personally went through cancer treatment for brain cancer. He had to personally experience it.

I get why they don't. Let's say you post something controversial like "I like pancakes" and it gets 100k reposts by pancake lovers but then you change it to "I like waffles" the post is still shared and out there and the pancake people might not want to be tied to waffles.

Makes me want to make a 4 egg omelet or even a quiche.

I replied on another post today. Someone said the US is trending towards a police state. I commented it's already there. People are being disappeared with trials, and when ordered to stop by the judges, they refuse.

Trump probably wants to make it appear he supports Carney and takes the heat off Pierre, but I'm reality. Carney just looks stronger because of it.

Literal video recordings of deportation without trials for people who write opp eds or get autism awareness tatoos. It's already a police state.

Father to an autistic child here. Fuck this guy, he will get children killed, vaccines do not cause autism, my son was always autistic. This guy will kill children, period. Autism is not worse than death. Anyone who believes that should not have kids.

That's amazing. There are researchers studying carbon capture where they studied burying logs in the ground that would not rot due to lack of oxygen, therefore capturing carbon. I bet they would like to see this log and the place it was found.

Yes! And it's terrifying.

With the recent release of classified text chats by the Atlantic, we need to stop sharing intel with the US they can no longer be trusted and will put lives at risk.
