MORALLY, should he have been there? Probably not. He is a 16 year old kid, probably shouldn't have been going to an active riot zone with shit on fire. NO ONE should have been there. None of this should have happened.

That ISN'T "the nut of it". Not even close. He had EVERY right to be there as did everyone else. Just as much Gaige Grosskreutz did (who brought a Glock). He was legally there in every aspect. Was legally carrying as well (Judge threw the gun charge out).

Problem is the image was upscaled, and the prosecutors expert they brought in didn't understand how upscaling works. It was also extremely blurry and you couldnt really tell anything.

I watched the entire Trial. It was clearly self defense. The video footage is extremely clear on the events of the case. The only thing the prosecutors had was a blurry still frame from a drone claiming to be of rittenhouse pointing his rifle at someone before the shootings.

So, you are incorrect. Two of the men Rittenhouse shot where carrying weapons. One used a skateboard and struck Rittenhouse in the shoulder/neck/head, the other pointed a pistol at him. The other was screaming, and grabbed his gun barrel. The fourth who Rittenhouse missed, had jump kicked him.

Rittenhouse was still on the ground, and Gaige Paul Grosskreutz approached him with a pistol in hand. He held his hands up as Rittenhouse pointed at him. Grosskreutz then pointed his gun at Rittenhouse and Rittenhouse shot him in the arm and got up and fled to the police with arms raised.

Rittenhouse tripped at one point, falling to the ground. Maurice Freeland jump kicked Rittenhouse, and he shot back, missing. Anthony Huber struck Rittenhouse with his skateboard, and grabbed his gun. Rittenhouse shot him in the chest, killing him.

The McGinniss started administering aide to Rosenbaum, and Rittenhouse stood there for a bit, then fled as he was still being pursued by protestors.
Videos show people yelling "Beat him up!", "he shot someone!", and "Get him!" as Rittenhouse fled the scene.

Ziminski shot his weapon, and Rittenhouse turned around after hearing the shot, seeing Rosenbaum running at him.
According to a McGinniss, Rosenbaum yelled "fuck you" and grabbed Rittenhouse's gun barrel, Rittenhouse fired four times and killed him.

Rosenbaum screamed "if I catch any of you guys alone tonight, I'm going to fucking kill you", and Rittenhouse testifies he heard Ziminski yell "kill him" towards Rosenbaum as he was running at Rittenhouse.

Yea I understand. Im saying thats how I interpreted it. And I interpreted it incorrectly, and pointed out it was ridiculous for me to interpret it that way because the limit is 25%. So there is no way he could have gotten it to 35%.
Apologies for the confusion.

I interpreted the 10% Chinese Tariff as a "10% more than the 25% on the Tariffs on anyone else". So 35%. But the problem with that is a 25% Tarrif is the limit he can impose by law. It is really weird he is giving China such a break comparatively.

Counter question. What does a VPN offer? It doesn't give you internet access, what it offers is security, and guaranteed access to the entire internet. That is what bitcoin offers. Bitcoin isn't an asset, or a product. It is a service.

Bitcoin is here to stay. But in what form? At what price will it reach market saturation? Time will only tell. Also, what purpose does it server? How can something with no backing be worth something?

I don't know how this could be a ponzi scheme. Who can sell to crash the price? Germany sold off $2.8B, it didnt fail, The US just sold off $1.9B, it didnt fail. Bitcoin's market cap is $2T. No one has enough BTC to cause a crash and stop this movement except Satoshi himself, and he is probably dead

People in the replies here dont really understand what is happening. BTC ETFs are out, and have more investment than all gold ETFs.

It's a Prisoner's dilemma situation. And the US is looking to defect.

So is Trump completely insane to start a Trade War with Canada? I do not think so. I do disagree with his strategy of threatening tariffs. Canada is one of our greatest allies, and working with them with civility seems like a better option.

The US also has another advantage. USD is the Reserve Currency of the World. The demand for USD is higher than other currencies, this in effect subsidizes the products that US consumers buy, so US consumers get a better deal on everything they import.

*But*. Is the Trade Deficit bad? It completely depends. Japan for example has had a trade surplus for the past serveral decades, yet economic growth has been slow, while the US has some of its greatest growth during periods of increased deficit. The US consumes products, and upscales them.

Trade deficits are normally looked at as a "bad thing". But it depends. The US benefits a lot from the imbalance. We take their products, and upscale it to better services. Which we export at a net of $278B] (which is included in the 773B deficit already).

So when you start to put things into context, you realize why Canada is doing what they do. But look at the total US trade deficit globally. $773B. So Canada is a pretty big part of that deficit. We do a ton of trading with them. So it makes sense why Trump is targeting Canada.

Is there some explanation on WHY this is the case? What about the algo is better? Or is it just that X is so easy to fuck with because of the changes Elon has implemented?

Do you have some context to this picture? This is like posting a picture of Clinton with Epstein. Context matters. Was he agreeing with Fuentes? Or arguing with him?

Also, the goal of the US being super particular about this isn't to piss off Ukraine, or call them liars.
Its to combat the goal of the strike. Which is to cause fear in the US to prevent us from giving Ukraine more weapons. So the goal of the nit-picking is to help Ukraine in a round-about way.

A ICBM would be classified as a MRBM if its range was under 5,500 km. So its nit-picking.
This is also probably an attempt by the west to calm people down who don't understand the complicated pieces of all of this. ICBM is a scary word, just like nuclear reactor.

There are Ballistic Missiles, Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM), Medium Range Ballistic Missiles (MRBM), and Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM). I dont think the West is claiming they didnt strike Dnipro, but they are claiming they are not ICBMs, they are still Ballistic Missiles.
