Well, it's like what happens when a professional creationist debates an evolutionary biologist. The biologist is an expert at the actual business of science, whereas all the creationist does is con and mislead, so they're really good at winning debates despite having zero actual facts on their side.

I've never bought this theory. It just presumes bad motives for too many people. It's Republican in the improbability of its scope. I'm not saying it's impossible, and I don't have any counterargument in which I'm particularly confident. But I do think incompetence is more likely than complicity.

Oh, yes, i use DND, so I see the icon. I just did a little Googling and the difference between dnd and silent seems fuzzy. Have you tried dnd instead?

It was the lock screen, but only because I couldn't easily get a screencap of the always-on screen. But I assure you that the ⛔️ symbol is there as well!

Me too. Every time i look at my phone (assuming it's showing the always-on screen), I can see whether the leftmost icon is the Do-Not-Disturb ⛔️ symbol or not. Isn't that, that?
