Most of the RAF bases around the world that I grew up on have been converted. Most of Alconbury has already been sold off but there are still some big old spaces like Lakenheath and Fairford.

This may reflect that firms are behaving better, that firms are settling with customers before they take a complaint to the FOS, or that the FOS is setting a higher bar in upholding complaints, or all three. Whichever, it doesn't really fit the narrative that the FOS is particularly harsh on firms
