It's early days and all that but the FTSE 100 performance this year is more than double the S&P500 (7.5% vs 3.2%). Interesting factoid to add in light of the CEO of the Financial Ombudsman Service resigning: over the past decade a) the number of complaints to FOS has dropped by two thirds b) the % of complaints upheld has dropped to just 35% and so c) the number of successful complaints has dropped by 81%
