Sneezing in my younger years: sounds fairly normal. Sneezing now: sounds like I'm trying to expel the lower half of my body through my nostrils.

Agree with number one. This was my (pleasant) surprise of the year.

Cilla Black. Even at a young age, I could tell she was a wrong 'un.

I love your postings. So glad you came over here.

This, along with the Children of Green Knowe, brings back fond childhood Christmas memories.

Donna and Blitzen and Keeping the Dream Alive are strong choices.

This is awful shitty news, and I'm so sorry this happened. I hope you're all doing ok. Fuck them. Fuck them right in the bastard.

Damn it. I'm in. That was good.

*looks outside at dead flowers* I'll try next year. Thank you for the encouragement!

I've always thought of giving this type of photography a try, but I don't think I'd have the patience. It's a really lovely, striking image.

This is lovely.

Mine seems to be purely squirrel-based content. An animal I am ambivalent about at best. I have no idea what I've pressed.

I haven't been on X for a week. I plan to delete my account in the New Year because I follow many accounts that showcase old homes, castles, and other beautiful places. I enjoy seeing photos of how they decorate for Christmas. Yep, bad to the bone, me...

My wife and I have just started watching the first series in preparation for the second and have just done episode 3. Both of us tried to explain to each other what was going on. Neither of us was right. It's really bloody good, though.

It's a classic album with so many great songs. I was also surprised when 'On and On' popped up on the '97 film 'Face' soundtrack. I remember when the NME had one of their mixtapes on it, which had a demo of 'Jesus Christ'. I ended up preferring this to the album version.

The moment reporters begin questioning Trump about who is truly in charge of running the country.

God, imagine that peering through your letterbox.

It would die within weeks if that happened.

I just love the fact that stuff I'm interested in and want to contribute to is readily available to me. Who'd have thunk that would be a unique selling point for a social media platform. That, and less Nazi stuff, obvs.

One of the best songs from their best album.

I really didn't want to imagine Lizz Truss sashaying this Sunday morning.

An edit button would be lovely.

Sunshine is such an underrated gem. I remember watching it at the cinema, and when it got to Capa's jump scene and John Murphy's score kicked in, getting chills.

Cools. I'll add it to the (ever growing) TBR pile. Thank you!

I've doubled my following numbers compared to Twitter in only a few days, and many are folk who I'd never have found on the other place. It's a fantastic idea to connect with what interests you.

I watched it on a plane to New York. When Chris Pines's face started morphing, I laughed so hard I burped. No shame.

It's the pause by the caller, then the addition of the word 'monumental' that completely hooks Farage in. Masterful stuff.

I've never read this. I have only dipped into a few of Pratchett's books. Is it worth a look?

Two hours a night before bed. I can't switch my brain off to sleep unless I do this. Plus, you know, reading is pretty cool.

I will have to go with Christopher Buehlman. He's never put a step wrong with any of the books he has written. And hello to you!

You have the makings of an excellent blues song there.

They could put little trampolines at the bottom, so they bounce back out.

First saw that movie at far too young an age. The man's head on a dog's body scene gave me nightmares for weeks.

The visibility of folk I was following on Twitter compared to here is insane. I figured it was a problem, but seeing it side by side shows how much content was being throttled on the other place.

Carole, could you imagine a world where the FBI would fight back against this appointment? I don't know how or why, but surely the rank and file wouldn't accept someone this unserious.
