ANY of that would make me want to jump through a window! Unless it's birds preening their feathers. That's relaxing. But it needs to be live birds.

The Declaration of Independence makes the US position on the UK's "rules" clear. ;) WHOM it is!

You know that Harrison Ford commercial during the Superbowl? I was so hoping he was going to say something like "I still hate Nazis." He didn't. Instead, we had links to Nazi gear. I predict the Indiana Jones movies will soon be banned.

Missed "bad for mental health." Therapy appointments are so much easier when you don't have to drive/take time off work/school.

Remember how insurance was only offered to the healthiest so the companies can make more $$? They only want the wealthy to have access to telehealth.

They're putting it on hold and sending it to "Compliance." They don't think it's been that long. They got a lecture about how many hours I've spent on this and my hourly charge. Now they can let the AG decide if they *can* unbundle... even if they're a teaching hospital.

2/2: "Unbundling" procedures to bill extra is considered medical fraud. The doctor used one code. Per their logic, the ultrasound tech decided to do an additional procedure (or my doctor coded wrong?) Or billing decided. Medicare and several insurance agencies say just b/c you can, you shouldn't.

Stephen Bishop's "It Might Be You" (from TOOTSIE), specifically the line "I've been saving love songs and lullabies."

There's no explanation. He is to blame for where we are right now.

This. The hell they don't have the tech. They have it, but we have some Dems who want to be "gentlemen" who are like British troops in red coats walking a straight line into battle!

If we wait long enough, the Teslas will off themselves.

I would also like to know. I'm so irritated with NPR et al with their navel-gazing analysis of Democrats and why they "lost" and "maybe" this is illegal... and let's retire the word "unprecedented" forever! THIS IS A NATIONAL EMERGENCY. TRUMP'S ENTIRE PURPOSE IS CONFUSION.

Plot twist: Your landlord gets annoyed with you because the Public Works person told him the residents should just "boil the water for five minutes before consuming." According to the Health Dept., PW has the same CDC flyer that they do and are supposed to distribute it.

@kkjetelina.bsky.social Lady, all those people who saw your AMAZING work and shared it and told friends and family to follow you and listen to you... WE ARE STILL HERE!!!! Take the break, *enjoy* the hard-earned ice cream, and send up the bat signal when you're ready. <3

Ironic too that one of Politico's founders think Trump's the greatest since sliced bread. Guess automatic capitulation and fawning doesn't save you in the end?

I've been thinking we just need all the news media to focus on Musk and address Trump as "Musk's spokesperson." Could throw things in an interesting direction.

Yes, but isn't it full of toxic masculinity?

At CDC studies on the H5N1 bird flu, scheduled for release on Jan. 23, remain withheld despite the spreading outbreak.

Last I checked, the Costco buyers are also local, which is why the book selection will be different depending on where you go. So you have a shot at getting some different "specialty" items!
