Look at this picture. That’s 24 racer marking. This is gonna be a 24 player Mario Kart. I think that’s a pretty damn big one.

Nice! I’m someone who tried getting into Pokémon but just couldn’t. That is until TCG Pocket came along. This is probably a hot take but I find the card game format for Pokémon combat way more fun and engaging than the video game format it’s based on.

I’m a big Nintendo fan and have very recently got into TCG Pocket. Are there any particular Nintendo games you are extra fond of?

Quite the contrary. My recent second playthrough has been a “hell mode” run. Makes it feel like I’m playing the game for the first time all over again. I need to get back to finishing it

Ooooh board games is something I don’t see too often. What kinda board games do you enjoy?

That one part where you play from the perspective of the robot at the beginning of the B route with him bringing over a bucket of oil in a vain attempt to cure his robot “brother”. They could’ve easily shown this in a cutscene, but they intentionally made this so you’d understand their struggles.

I agree for the most part, however, I have played certain games like Nier Automata and Mother 3 that both have parts of the game that aren’t fun and were never MEANT to be fun. These parts serve to expand the narrative and get you to see a new perspective. I do generally agree with you though.

Hi, Mario Party super fan here. If you are struggling at Mario Party, I’d be happy to give you some tips to improve your odds (at the cost of potential friends of course lol)

The Thousand Year Door remake is another top contender, but I chose to not include that since it technically IS a remake

That’s tough. Some of my top contenders are Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and maybe Mario and Luigi Brothership (only recently beat that game so it could be recency bias). It’s hard to decide a single favorite, especially with the wide variety of Mario games made for the Switch.

What exactly is the scope we are talking here? WiiU and onward? Are we referring to just mainline or do spin offs count?

I revisit it every so often and am amazed at how much the game STILL keeps me engaged all these years later

My #1 is Super Mario Galaxy 2. The level design is still to this day the best I have ever seen in a platformer. There isn’t a single part of the game that’s unenjoyable for me. Also Yoshi has the biggest role he’s ever had in a mainline Mario game. Obviously that also contributes lol

Hollow Knight is my second favorite game of all TIME. It just excels at everything it does. Also I just noticed you like Hades too, which is like my #3 favorite of all time. You got good taste my man!

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again. In a world of apathy, kindness is what true rebellion looks like

Nier Automata really altered my perspective on life. It taught me that sometimes, “not everything needs to have an answer”

I have over 100 followers on Twitter, and most of my posts get absolutely zero traction, meanwhile my first ever post here got 7 likes without any followers to my name. I know 7 isn’t much, but I’ll take SOMETHING over nothing.

Even as someone stubborn enough to make my own self imposed challenges for certain games and tackle tough games head on, I can respect wanting to take it easy and enjoy video games more as a relaxing hobby than something to challenge yourself with.

Nintendo and Rougelikes are interests I have in common! I’ve been a big Nintendo fan for well over a decade, and I’ve played some fantastic Rougelikes like Slay the Spire and Hades.

That was my experience with Hollow Knight. Struggled at a boss, gave up, came back like a year later and fell in love with the game to a whole new level. Then I reached another roadblock, took another year off, and after coming back a second time, it’s now my second favorite game of all time.
